To play is simple:
Write down the next thing your main character (from whichever last story you are writing or finished) is about to do add “then everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked”.
Like this (purely an example):
I was going to slay a terrible monster and saved the kingdom, then everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked.
