🤯 Any other AI art addicts here? 🤯

So you took his photo, and the app it made it move like that? :open_mouth:

It is. I tried a few other songs/clips they have but so far haven’t found a better one. I will likely try again though because this is so much fun.

So, generated, and face morph on top.

That’s really cool and unique

I did have to work on the fecemorph to get it to fit: some pattern blends, hair work, bit that was all in Gimp. The lampshade was swiped and blended in. The AI background pattern replicated in the dark areas above. Took a little more work than slapping together.

Now that I have created my character hundreds of times and though I got a lot of good images, I have several favorites, and I thought it was about time to choose the official picture that best describes this character, the official face claim, and I found myself unable to choose. Each of my favorites embodies a different version of him, a different vibe. There’s the sassy Ruby vibe (that’s the one I used on the cover above). There’s the gentle friend Ruby vibe. There’s the mad scientist Ruby vibe. There’s the effortlessly sexy Ruby vibe. There’s also fabulously gay, sad, conflicted, and shattered Ruby vibes.

Choosing just one of them would make that one vibe permanent as if he was just one thing instead of all of them.

And something occurred to me. Why should he have just one face? When I write and read, the character’s face is never 100% concrete. It’s fluid, blurry. So all of these could be him.

So I think I’m going to go with all of my favorites being the official face claim.

Since I’ve got all of these already done, I started the similar search for the other character: Seri. He’s harder to generate because he has wings and AI has as much luck with them as with fingers. :joy:

This is my favorite so far, he’s just adorable here. My biggest problem with it is that he’s supposed to be 16. Does this one look younger than 16?

I haven’t had as much luck with him yet. He either comes out too old or too young. Sigh. I’ll keep trying.

There is a fluidity in age. This is 14, which wouldn’t be a stretch for 18 or 12.

I was guessing 14 as well. Seems a bit mature for 12 but I definitely wouldn’t give him 18. With girls it would be easier to make that stretch. I’ve known a 12 year old that looked like 16. It’s pretty wild.

My son is 14 so I look at him and his peers as a comparison. There’s definitely a large range between boys. There’s a huge difference in what he looked like at 11 vs 14. He went from a cute boy to a dude. I can’t even imagine how much more he’ll change by 16.

these pictures will self destruct in...

Summer of 2019 vs 2022

Looking at how my son’s face changed, I think the boy in the AI photo wouldn’t be more than 14 unless he was a late bloomer. And those exist too but I think it’s harder to justify the extremes without suggesting underage shenanigans.

It’s the 18 year old pixies I’m thinking about pushing it that far: guys that grow up with perfectly elven features. The widening of face like Leonardo DiCaprio’s happens closer to 25, and some guys just don’t start that part at all until out of their teens. They are just rare.

But if this works, it may be a bit helpful:

I’m surprised Google hasn’t created their own model yet.

:joy: I tried that site on my son’s 11 year old photo, result: 21.

No, he did not look like an adult at 11. And though his face changed drastically in the last three years (as did his hair length), he still doesn’t look like an adult at 14 either.

I tried to create Amphora with Dream today but it’s glitching out, keeps erasing what it created. Technical difficulties on the server or something.

So I tried NightCafe again. I ran out of credits but I think I’m onto something.

When I have more credits, I’ll resume with this prompt as it’s giving me awesome results. For reference, I’m using their default presets on these (Artistic Portrait).

The closest to Amphora so far:

Based off another creation, I’m wondering if I should give her purple eyes. I’ve described her eyes as black in the story but this here looks gorgeous and I’m wondering if I should reconsider.

Eyes can be added to image manually later so that’s not a deal breaker.

I haven’t been able to create an image with her dragon scales so that’s why I want to try again. I’m pretty happy with the early results though.

Meanwhile, it’s not very story-fitting for her to be dressed up as she’s stuck in a basement, is living a miserable life (don’t worry, that changes by the end of the story).

OBSERVATION

I find it kinda interesting how I’m using a similar prompt to the one I used for Ruby and Seri but boys didn’t have as fantastic and intricate images. Is it because I’m creating a girl so AI assumes I want her dressed up in jewels or is it because I’m creating a dark skinned girl and it’s influenced by ethnic art? I would experiment but I’m out of credits so this curiosity has to wait.

Example dressed up results.

My prompt did not ask for jewelry.

Well, got a cover remade for something I need to finish. Lmao

Both the left and right side are AI generated (2 different pics), the face is a face morph of 2 fecemorphs blended from different points in their spectrum, and of course tons of editing work for me.

99% not edited. Couple of spots where the color was so annoying I changed it and resized death. Otherwise, what the AI thought of my prompts.
