I signed up for the ProWritingAid’s version of NaNoWriMo this morning. It’s a little different but very similar format and already have seen things to RSVP Sprints and different events. Curious if anyone else is giving it a shot?
I don’t honestly have the time right now, and I’m not even 100% certain I’m going anywhere with my current project, but I figured I’d give it a shot.

I’ve been thinking about it but haven’t joined yet. Does it have user profiles and stats and buddy lists and stuff like NaNo had?
I’m “participating” in the same way I’m “participating” in a bunch of Discord server events - just uploading my word count every so often. Namely I just want to see if they got the Scrivener 50% off this year
So I believe they do have a lot of stats and user profile stuff, but they don’t let you use any of it until it officially starts or you’re a pro member. The buddy thing is different. You can join groups but the set up is more like a forum that the individual chat stuff.
Only 20% this year the codes is NOVEMBER if you’re still interested though.

I like to give the codes to friends. Haven’t heard anything about it so just gotta wait and see I suppose
