Brainstorming thing - a quest with dragons but not to destroy them? [updated]

I saw the first two, I think. Those are fun

That’s cool. Reminds me of how some stories take the rat king. All the rats tied at the tail with all of their thoughts are shared and living as a collective. No free will.

Mythos Tippentine
This is the humanoid dragon lord.

Not this color. It should be blue-purple. Not the staff, but a bag of snacks or something else that’s not a weapon. Mythos has never left the castle or the care of the nymphs, so he’s a bit naive and has heard mixed stories about humans.

I think this story will be a little bit silly

Oh yeah, if you wanna go down the Aztec route, there is also Quetzalcoatl.

No idea if anyone has mentioned that yet, but putting that out there. I never see Aztec lore being put in a lot of stories. Too many people play it safe with the Western Medieval idea of dragons.

Just thought of a short story / animation adaptation you could experiment with.

…Replace the crocodile with a small dragon…
Update: Just read in the YouTube comments, the crocodile is a embodiment of the girl’s social anxiety. The cartoon makes more sense now.

I’ve seen that one :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I think that would be a different story

But thanks for the idea!

Indeed, this is how the Three (The Sorcerers of Astiol) are indeed bound by Temulkar (The Eldest of the Children of Mara).
