I decided to make this thread to talk about stuff in Breath of the Wild (a Zelda game).
First “batch” of stuff will be my next reply in this.
Also, anyone can comment on the stuff if they want.

First “batch” of stuff: about the Divine Beasts and Champions.
Revali of the Rito, Urbosa of the Gerudo, Mipha of the Zora, and Daruk of the Gorons were each chosen to pilot their own machine called Divine Beasts.
Revali piloted Vah Medoh (looks like a bird), Urbosa piloted Vah Naboris (looks like a camel), Mipha piloted Vah Ruta (an elephant), and Daruk piloted Vah Rudania (salamander).
These individuals were called the Champions.
The Champions were chosen to pilot the Divine Beasts because an evil entity called Calamity Ganon was forseen to awaken.
Each Champion had to go through special trials, and then they were able to pilot their Divine Beasts.
Along with the Divine Beasts, there were also these machines called Guardians, that were created to help with the defense efforts.
One day, as forseen, Calamity Ganon awoke.
Revali was the first to see what was happen, as he flew into the air to check out the commotion.
The Champions then went on to pilot their Divine Beasts, but little did they know…
When Calamity Ganon awoke, he took control of both the Guardians, and the Divine Beasts.
The Guardians became hostile, and each Divine Beast became infected by enemies called the Blights: Windblight (Medoh), Thunderblight (Naboris), Waterblight (Ruta), and Fireblight (Rudania).
The Champions each tried to fight the Blights, but each ended up falling to them.
Link was badly injured during all this, and was put into a place called the Shrine of Ressurection. Then, Zelda went on to hold Ganon back…
100 years after this, Link woke up, but without his memories.
He travelled the Great Plateau, completing Shrines, and eventually, gained the Paraglider, which allowed him to get off the Plateau.
He then went to Kakariko, and met with Impa, who told him about everything that had happened.
He then went on to each Champion’s village, to meet with their decendents (in Mipha’s case, it was her brother).
With their help, he would clense the Divine Beasts, defeat the Blights, and free the Champions’ spirits, which had been trapped, essentially.
After they got freed, they would be able to regain control of their Divine Beasts again, which would help Link in his fight against Calamity Ganon.
Then, he would go on to face off against Ganon…
To save Hyrule once more.
In each Divine Beast, you have to do specific things in order to activate five terminals, which then allows you to activate the main terminal and face off against the Blights.
Well, each Divine Beast has it’s own themes.
And yes, I mean themes.
Technically the same one each time, but every time you activate a terminal, it changes slightly (will cover that soon).
Now, each Divine Beast’s theme also contains an SOS “theme”, as well as a SAD “theme”.
SOS for the Champions (as they were basically calling out for help) and SAD for the Blights (since all they knew was to attack the Champions).
Each SOS theme starts at a different time (for example, in Naboris it starts almost instantly because Urbosa was caught off guard by Thunderblight, while in Medoh, it takes longer to start, as Revali thought he could fight off Windblight himself, before realizing he really did need Link’s help).
The thing is, as it goes on, the SAD themes start to overlap with the SOS themes.
As though the Champions’ cries for help are being drowned out by the Blights’ commands.
As I said, each theme also changes slightly as each terminal is activated.
Well, in Naboris, Rudania, and Medoh, it gets more hopeful/energetic: as Urbosa, Daruk, and Revali being the warriors they are, and believing in Link to stop the Blights.
In Ruta, however, it gets more anxious/worried.
This is probably due to a combination of the fact that Mipha was not only more of a healer type warrior, but also in love with Link.
The combo of this probably made her worried about Link getting hurt.
After all, she wouldn’t be able to save him now.
I think it’s very interesting how the themes change slightly each time a terminal is activated.
In each town, there’s two different themes: one plays during the day, and one at night.
Tarrey Town, however, is a bit unique.
Tarrey Town’s theme is unique in that it’s a combination of the other town themes.
As it goes on, you can here each town’s theme playing in it.
