Hey @All what have yall been up to. Lets summer Recap unpack some thoughts and emotions.
Iāve honestly just spent the whole of quarantine practically wrestling with this story. Iāve finally managed to find a plot that doesnāt make me want to barf. Hopefully I can write the rest of it in time for the wattys but idk. I just want to finish the story, Iāve been trying to since March. Iāve literally never finished a novel. If I want to get published one day I should be able to finish stories.
That was mostly a rant but I mean itās all that Iāve been doing aside from social distance hangouts and zoom university.

@sherwrites Omg same. Iāve been working on a rewrite on a very terrible first draft that I hated so much i just wrapped it up like 10 chapters early so I didnāt have to force myself to work on it anymore. Anyway, Iāve spent the last 8 months starting incomplete drafts trying to figure out the best angle for this thing and struggling with confidence in my work. Iāve finally found an idea I love and am almost finished outlining it. And I made my best friend promise to stop me if I try to start over again. Iām really excited to see where this is going to go. You know?
Anyway, I spent most of the summer inside. Iām a very anxious person and the thought of going anywhere in a corona infested world scared me a lot. I mean it still does but now I go running 4 days a week for a half hour before I have school (Iām in hs). I also started mowing the back lawn at my house which seems to have helped me a lot. Other than that, Iāve spent a lot of time just reading and writing. And I beta read a fellow wattpaderās work, which felt really good.
Okay that was a lot, but it feels good to unload.

Where Are You From?: Thatās a loaded question, haha. I was originally born in California, I moved out to the Middle East when I was very young and only left (back to the US) when I was a teenager. Iāve never truly been able to identify with American culture as a result.
Genres: Oh, Iāll write just about anything. I prefer magical realism, and fiction the most, but Iām dipping my toes in everything.
Also, thanks for making this @AnaWryneck I have never seen a thread like this online, specifically for writers, so itās really nice to be a part of it.
