Cemetary Gates Armageddon

Yeah, he does. It’s because Gus needs money, and he’s not stable enough to work an actual full time job, and he really likes Izzy and wants to look after her as well (yeah I know that sounds weird and contradictory but he’s in love with her, okay?)

Is he going to steal money from someone evil, powerful and corrupt? That would be cool!

Actually I’ve never been in that situation where I didn’t know ahead of time what the protag was, but if you’re not sure about yours yet then I don’t see why that would necessarily be a problem. Any one of those as protag could be a good read, and best of all is if the protag begins as a villain but somehow redeems himself in some way at the end, maybe to save someone or something he really cares about, thus becoming an anti-hero. Well, kind of but not really, not sure yet. At the moment, he’s saving his ass, and giving people a cut of the money he makes “for the greater good”.

Yeah, true. I’d say that this is part crime drama, romance, and character study. I’ve been looking to write it for a while now and finish it. Explore Gus’s character. I’m not sure of Gus’s true nature yet. I always knew that he wasn’t gonna be a straightforward character, though.

At the moment, he’s falling for Izzy, and wants to make enough money to get out of Miami and he wants Izzy to come with him too. But Izzy has a life and she works in Miami and has a life there, and doesn’t want to leave even though she really likes Gus too.

@JellyGhost I need to inform you of something that will make you take Dragon Ball even less seriously. Or more seriously, depending on your views.

Just for consideration.

This is how I felt when I learned that the next avatar was going to be cyberpunk…

Is this the representation of neurodivergence people want?

Wowies, that’s damned interesting and would make a good book subject. I’ve never heard of this condition before, although I’ve heard of people who can’t feel any physical pain. I envy them! ☜(ˆ▿ˆc)

The problem with becoming a fan of Dragon Ball these days is that you start seeing similarities everywhere. @JellyGhost @Akje

Let us me real, the difference between DT and Frieza is like the difference between Minute Maid apple juice and Angry Orchard hard apple cider.

I imagine anime writers borrow from one another the same way other writers do. It’s no different than hundreds of different authors all writing regency romances. Except funnier. (>‿◠):v:

Now I’m suddenly picturing regency romances with lizard creatures.

Yeah but aside from all of the superficial similarities it is like comparing apples to racists.

Do you want a compilation of Frieza saying “monkey”?

Strangely enough, no! ☜(ˆ▿ˆc)
