Most of the cast of Dragonball is more irredeemable than Azula.

The man, the myth, the legend is back!

Look you are the one who apparently doesn’t like the M A S T E R P I E C E that is Arcane. Of course you are going to be seen as a pariah!

You got trashed again? Counterculture doesn’t go over well.

Look, I am this close, THIS CLOSE, to going to a writing discord and recommending people read the first arc of Dragonball.

It really is overrated. You’re telling me that if I write about a chick who acts like a man, as long as I give her trauma, it’s fine but if I don’t, then she’s a Marvel character? That’s hypocrisy.

We need more counterculture moments.

There are many different trauma responses, and not all survivors of trauma are exactly sympathetic from the get go…

Vi acts exactly like those “badass female Captain Marvel type characters” that they all slag off on Youtube, but when you add trauma, they instantly change their mind, despite her acting the same way they do just because they added “trauma” to her arc. That’s the bit that annoys me the most.

And then their argument is:

“But she has layers”.

But she doesn’t really.

Maybe I’m going insane, it’s very possible, but so many of these “strong woman” characters are either like Vegeta or Bulma with all of the entertaining aspects of them removed.

And also, a character is a man and he wears make up to cover a scar, apparently that’s “revolutionary” as well. But when a woman does it, it’s glossed over. Especially a violence survivor.

Is it just me or am I considered old-fashioned now?
