OOOO A 4 FOR 1 SALE!!? They used to do 3 for 1s every so often but a 4 for 1 is delicious. I really love their corsets. The only time I was let down was on one of the fan laced ones, but that was squarely a me issue because turns out I don’t like fan laced, lmao. Again, the curve isn’t insane, so you’ll find a lot of waist training communities that straight up detest CorsetStory… but they cannot be beaten for price:quality

Okay, let’s try something backstory related, this time with Mey (a.k.a. Prince Meneldir of the Kingdom of Alledoria, a.k.a., the sweet, soft, shy, INFP twink I wish I had):

  1. In the 1760s, Mey went to Venus. He spent a while there, and was often mistaken for a Venusian maiden (who are said to be the most beautiful women in the universe). There, at the age of 81, he killed the demon Hajagrai, Traitor of Mars, by ramming his flying ship into its chest. For this action, he received the Cross of St. Jana.
  2. The Neljar Empire and Alendir were at war from 1799-1802. Mey took part in that war, and participated in the Battle of Crosswinds and (more importantly) the Battle of Witching Pass, where he (and 19 others) held off a narrow mountain pass against 10,000 Neljar infantrymen. Mey was already injured and technically in the infirmary, when they were attacked. He held the line for 13 hours, killing 121 men. For his actions, he was given the Crimson Cross of Alendir in 1803 (at the age of 110), and adopted into the Royal Family.
  3. In the 1750s, Mey was posted in Akám, which was at war with the Cathan Empire, and the Akámi were losing. One day Mey was out foraging, and suddenly disappeared for a few months, presumed dead. During the Siege of Karthok – a pivotal city whose fall would mean the capitulation of Akám to the Cathan Empire – Mey returned to them (on Midsummer Eve – his 70th birthday). He came back with Tembashetu, a legendary 31-ton elephant, who destroyed the Cathani positions with his charge. For his valour, he received the Crimson Cross of Akám, the epithet of ‘Hero of Karthok’, and had a statue of him built in the city.

They offer waist training ones, too :slight_smile: Different brands have different intended waist reductions, afaik CorsetStory goes up to 3 inch, which is barely anything. Most people prefer a more defined reduction
