While I absolutely agree that baking and cooking is a creative skill, it is one that I lack. I actually hate cooking, it stresses me tf out.

Yup, some of it is definitely works of art! Especially since I freaking hate cooking or baking. Such a chore! I pretty much live on pre-packaged meal shakes and salad kits these days rather than cook anything, unless something just requires a few minutes in the microwave. ¯\_(ﭢ)_/¯

As someone who bakes, it’s definitely a creative art. Just one of the lesser known ones because cooking is more seen as a life skill than an art
Cooking is a creative art because you can be creative with not just the visuals but also the the flavours, textures and aromas, etc. so it’s art form in more ways than one.
