Thank you! I’ve just finished redoing one of my poetry covers today it took me ages to come up with a concept for a more permanent cover instead of the previous placeholder cover, but I got it eventually and finished it! I might post it later to the cover critique threads

And it really sucks personally, how some people treat other cover designers also affects whether I’ll accept their request even if they haven’t requested from me yet. If they’re really rude or skimp on payment—or anything just as bad—I’ll put them on my secret blacklist makes me wonder if there’s like a network of designers where they go “this person requested from my shop and they were very rude, deny their request if they request from you”

Oof yeah. I, thankfully, haven’t had much experience with bad customers, but dealing with them can be a hassle. I wonder if there is such a place…

Sure! I’ve redone all of my poetry covers so I’ll just post them all here got a lot of help from Enna, she gives super helpful critique

The differences between the previous and current versions of from the depths of my mind, they flutter free are pretty subtle. I just changed the font of the author name to match the title and played around with the spacing

Oof yeah. I, thankfully, haven’t had much experience with bad customers, but dealing with them can be a hassle. I wonder if there is such a place…

I’d imagine that mostly happens in communities with graphic shops, especially if the designer works for several communities or a designer with so many designer friends

Very possible! When I started designing, I saw other designers as either they had left wattpad, or they were way out of my league, and I never really joined a community due to commitment issues, so makes sense.

Very possible! When I started designing, I saw other designers as either they had left wattpad, or they were way out of my league, and I never really joined a community due to commitment issues, so makes sense.

Oh, true. I’m still below the league of many designers I know :') some of them are really nice though so I don’t feel too bad ^^ luckily the community I’m in allows designers to go on long designing hiatuses, so it’s great for a busy college student like me

Oh it takes only a bit of time feeling that way before you get to a comfortable place! It’s really great that you’re able to balance your time!
