I have nothing useful to say other than that I like it. I don’t know specifically why though, if you were wanting to know exactly what’s wrong or right with it. Poetry just sort of either hits me or it doesn’t, but I really never know why. ¯\_(ﭢ)_/¯

This is what I call a High Church poem.
When you have a short repeating refrain, it’s generally meant to be read or sung by a group, the leader reading the long bits, and the short response is by the congregation:
