delusion is the solution?????? Ahm yes

Domain training in the office? What exactly is that? What kind of job?

Yeah, the old crew has gotten pretty much dismantled over time. Glad to see at least some of y’all are still around.

My college is going pretty well. Passed my winter exams. Also, I have written my first ever research paper at the Department of Psychiatry. I will be defending my work at 23rd of March.

Apart from that, I am working on my new poetry book. I also participated, as a member of a newly formed literature club in my city, in an artistic event called “Magical nights” (original: “Magične večeri”), in which I recited my poem in front of a crowd alongside other fellow artists.

Overall, an exciting year so far in my case.

Same question for you: how is your writing going?

Projects come in domains, so you need to get trained in the domain that you are assigned, like we are getting trained on Java full stack, there are people getting trained on .net, like that. And the job is of associate Software engineer you can say.

Congratulations!
Defending your work as in, as a doctor you’ll start your practice?

Again, congratulations!
If you had crowd fear, I’d have said, good job! But then again, this is no small feat, so, good job!

I’m adequate.
I started writing one short stories with a few chapters and also continuing the one I was already writing, but they’re on a temporary hold because of our training

Yup, show me.

I see, that’s great. How long does this training last and what comes after?

Thank you!

Not exactly. The work I am speaking of is classified as a “student research paper”. It is different from a doctor thesis or a diploma research paper which I will have to write next (aka final) uni year.

The difference is mostly in the length (student works are generally shorter than the other two), but the structure is the same like with any scientific work.

The point of student research is adding works into your CV which are going to give you an advantage over other competitors once you start looking for a specialisation you want to take. In my case, psychiatry is what interests me. Hence me doing research in that particular department.

You can write these student research papers once per each school year. With a help of a colleague who has written several works already, I decided to take on this challenge for the first time. And I can tell you, it’s been fun writing it.

Again, thanks!
I never recited poetry in front of so many people until now. It’s been tense at first, but I managed to relax during the recitation. Breaking the ice feels fulfilling.

Are they going to be published on Wattpad? In your short stories collection I remember reading and leaving a comment or two?

Maybe an episode or two of The Pink Panther Show.

I haven’t watched Takeshi’s Castle in that format, but there was a comedic version of it called Most Extreme Elimination Challenge that I watched frequently when I was younger.

This training is supposed to be upto March, including capstone projects maybe, and then there will be real projects we’ll get into, which is the actual work here.

Ah, I understand. Once in college we were also thinking about doing that.
What was your research paper about? Is it published yet?
In psychiatry, you plan to do md right after graduation (you call it mbbs or something else?) or after practicing for a few months or years?

Yeah, CV you need to make as good as you can so, keep up!

It’s in Serbian? You call it Serbian, right? How did you get to know about the club?

The story that I said I was working on, is not on Wattpad yet, I plan to publish it there after I complete writing it. It’s going to be published as a separate book from the short story one, as that book contains one chapter short stories only, and it’ll have a few chapters, 10-15.
Yeah, I remember, man, even in your comments it like you’re writing a short little story. I appreciate that comment very much. Now I’m even more far away from my hometown, like 28-30 hours by train, that much.

How about you? You plan to pursue your higher studies in the same University?

And Doraemon? Ninja hatori?

gasp it was so funny and good!
The one you watched, on which channel it used to be? Pogo?

Ooh, were you inspired by Brahma(creator), Vishnu(preserver) and Shiva(destructor and protector)?!

I see, so the actual work will be starting soon. I wish you good luck! How has the training been so far? Do you have the feeling you chose the right job for yourself?

My research was about levels of uric acid in different phases of bipolar disorder. Without getting into too much detail, there is basically this theory that uric acid plays a role in the genesis of mental disorders. The hypothesis was that manic phase of bipolar has higher levels than depressive phase. I took some data from the Clinic’s database and did the statistics.

It hasn’t been published anywhere, at least not yet. I heard that, if you did the job well and have some amount of luck, student researches could be published in some affirmed medical journals. I will see what happens after defending the work.

The way it works here, we get the title of “doctor of general praxis” (which is, as far as my knowledge goes, the Serbian equivalent of an MD) after six years of study in the medical university. I am at my fifth year right now.

Once I am done with that, I have to do some work as a general practitioner of medicine. We call that period “stažiranje”. It lasts one year, and I will be rotating from clinic to clinic. In the end, I will take something we call “state exam”, which is like a finals test.

Then, finally, comes the specialisation part of the whole journey. I haven’t gotten all the info on how that exactly works in my country yet. What I do know, however, is that my average mark and, especially, student researches will be the main factors whether I am going to get the field I’d like.

Yes, it is in Serbian, called “Mali kameleon” (translation: “Little Chameleon”). I found the club by looking through a website that has a list of currently ongoing literature competitions in my region. Sometimes, advertisements may pop up there, and that’s where I read their invitation towards new potential members. I noticed they are located in my city. The monthly fee is reasonable. Thus I decided to send them some poems, which got me accepted into the crew.

Do tell me when you post your story. Wattpad most of the time won’t notify me when someone publishes a new book.

I am glad you remember. You may get new such comments in the future.

28-30 hours is no joke. How often do you get to visit your hometown nowadays?

Yeah, I plan to do the stažiranje I mentioned, as well as specialisation, in the same city. Where I am going to be working, tho, is something not set in stone so far. It is far away from me. Gonna decide when the time eventually comes.

100%, it’s the best set up to create a regulated cosmos. It also doesn’t cast any of the 3 as better than the others, but people love to play favorites.

Ooh, you know about them a bit more then, than others!
Do you have favourite?
What did you like about them?

I think I like Shiva the most because people see Destruction as a negetive thing too much of the time, primarily from a Abrahamic Religion lens. He is associated with a lot of things that I like, like Mysticism and Snakes, and his family is also interesting.

It’s been very hectic. I’ve never thought that I’d ever be depressed, but depression has been trying to be friends with me although I’m trying to ignore their advances.
As for job, then, I don’t regret choosing the IT industry, but like, maybe I’d just like to start working in real tech projects already.

It’s not good have higher levels then? What about ocd and intrusive thoughts? Ocd is genetic, no?

As far as I know, you can publish your research paper along with a professor of yours. Either online or offline.

Ah. I’m not sure, but maybe, md is specialization too here.
It’s never really end of studying after college in any field really, is it?

Woah. That’s good. Keep up. I still don’t understand much, how people write poem. I wrote once when I was very little and then one a few months ago, which got deleted because my phone stopped working. Like, how does people actually compiles the words and make rhythm, meaning, making it a whole poem? It’s like magic.

Sure sure. :joy:

I came here at last of December in 2023, and I have been here since. This time, unlike college, I didn’t even have my friends with me. Only the almighty is with me here in this city.

The time to decide will come in 2 years, right? You have time then. But then again college flys away fast. Enjoy as much as you can. As for specialization you’ve decided on psychiatry?

What people forget is that he’s a protector too. And some times destruction is needed for good things to come.
A show is there, called Devlok with Devdutt Pattnaik. In that show devdutt says, that in Vedas, it’s as if Shiva came from a distant, faraway place. And people used be scared of him because they didn’t know him. He was mysterious to them.

And yeah, in his family, it’s amazing, how a human can also become a goddess, with a pure heart, realisation of one’s own true self and love. I’m talking about Parvati.

What do you like about Brahma and Vishnu?

I can’t say I know a lot about Brahma, he may be in a retirement home, unless you consider everyone else to be a part of Brahma…Which is a bit trippy to think about…

Vishnu constantly reinvents himself, which I 100% respect. I don’t think he’s ever done anything that I could consider bad. People say he’s part of the savior archetype for a reason.
