I disagree. 2 word titles are my bread and butter. XD I’m a sucker for short book titles and I don’t know why.
Yes! We did a ton of catching up. Whew. I have a few side projects I needed to read and didn’t want to start on them until I got this group finished since this group is priority reading for me. 
Aboslutly no need to apologize. I grasp the concept while reading it. It’s a very good concept! I think the book could be like another 100k words, just fleshing things out a bit more. Building the characters a little more and stuff like that. But if you are working on a second draft I assume you are already doing that. My book Aqua Waters, I restarted so many times I never thought it would get done. I had to make every chapter 1k words and just a skeleton of the book, just so I could get through it from start to finish. Now one of these days I need to go back and finish it, flesh it out, but we will see if I ever find the inspo to write again lmfao. I think you did a wonderful job, and each draft will get better and better.

Happy Sunday! This week was WILD with symptoms so I wasnt able to get much done! My apologies on that. Hoping that in the next 2 weeks I start feeling better as we come up on the second trimester. 
Hello everyone! Since I was struggling with the zombie story (no surprise there to be honest) I decided to bench it for now.
However…
I was watching Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, and as I reached the ending — watched said ending, my blood boiled. I was not only shocked but also PISSED off. The ending is cruel to the 4th prince x Soo shippers. (I won’t spoil)
So me, not at all liking the ending, decided to write my own story. My own time travel story.
Scarlet Heart Ryeo is about a 21st Century woman who basically “dies” and wakes up in the Goryeo Dynasty. She’s 25 but wakes up in the body of a 16 year-old. Mind you, this happens during a total solar ecplise.
As the story progresses she wants to go back home but also makes the promise to change the future of the Goryeo Dynasty by changing some events.
Now, I know time travel stories aren’t really too famous. The most famous one that comes to mind in western media is Outlander. My story will be a whole completely original story. In the sense that it’s not a fan fiction. It’s not set in our version of Earth either. However the country it takes place in, draws inspiration from South Korea’s Goryeo and Joseon Dynasties and Medieval Europe. (probably England and France when it comes to clothing as I’m not sure if I can find any sources for Belgium)
The story will be written in English, of course. It will have romance and … A HAPPY ENDING!
But since I will have to create a whole country from the ground up, with some major points in history, I will need some time to come up with everything and create everything. So I won’t be able to critique or beta read or give feedback. For the time being. As I’m going to focus on this story.
I know! I have changed stories TWICE now. I just can’t find the focus or the right story to completely focus on. At all. So I’m not going to pressure myself into setting a writing deadline for chapter 01. I’ll just focus on the first phase: the country, the history. Which means doing research!

I am so so sorry. Just super busy with other commitments that I’ve had to take a back seat on this, but I will be playing catch up for two weeks. If you need to put me on hiatus totally get it as I can’t commit to being ontop of everything weekly right now. And Midnight Lotus is paused till I get time to catch up with all your works and life. @Halfley Sarlet Heart is such an oldie for k drama but a goodie lol XD And also made me upset. (there are way better ones if you want recs) Love the idea of a time travel story and excited to read when you are ready to share.

I have been toying with an alternate Earth where the country is basically a part of China. But, then I realised: “I have been wanting to write a dark fae x mortal story for a while” and I didn’t find a hook or prompt in my head to start writing it. Yet, if I choose to go with a story that’s set in a high fantasy world, add Fae and magic in the past of the country it takes place. Modernize the country over the course of its history, and then… let the protagonist travel back in time, it all makes more sense.
Not only me desperately wanting to write a dark fae x mortal story, but also the cover of the time travel story! (which I have included below)
I can just… for once, maybe finish a story. Maybe add the zombie angle to create a disease based in dark magic or blood magic, and them (as “monsters”) serve as the antagonistic force in the story.
I have been told to combine ideas quite a few times but never really found a way to do so.

Hello everyone! I have some updates regarding my Time Travel Story which I thought I would share with all of you.
So, I have some things figured out already. As in:
So, I’m hoping to get into the plot aspect of it real soon!
I decided to combine the ideas for the Dark Fae, Zombie and overall Time Travel Story ideas together to create one story. Since I got told to combine ideas since most ideas lacked depth. So, here I am combining ideas and making ONE BIG STORY.
