I love the idea and the cover is beautiful! I think you have great ideas for books and this sounds very promising.
As for the editor part, thanks for the feedback. I’m thinking it might help me to have a developmental editor, especially since I am an underwriter. I’ll have to look into it in the start of next year. We’ll see how this round of queries goes. I got one partial request so far. I get requests so I know there’s interest but I think it would help to have an editor look at it to see where it’s falling short.

I think I just want to dissociate my story to the ones running on Dreame a bit, make it more mature. All the reviews I’ve got from here are super helpful and I based my third draft on all the comment I got. I can’t thank you all enough for this
@TMinx804 I have a love hate relationship with editing haha. I’m always hoping that the first draft is the best it could get, and then I read reviews and I realize all the flaws it have on it. I slap myself to not have it right the first time but i’m also glad and happy to be told what could be better/short/different. So yeah. Editing is hard
@KnightofEmpires I realize that I cannot re-invented the fated-mates trope by myself, and you and @TMinx804 are totally right. The story is not unique, but the main goal is to be able to make the characters alive and real for the reader. I’m still trying to figure this out
I love the cover and the story sound promising! I would read that for sure.
And thank you for sharing your editing experience. I don’t know if I’ll ever try one day, but seeing people having great experience make me feel a little more curious about the process.

Hey all! Finally got some work done! - damn that feels good! Finished Siren’s Lullaby and at least a chapter of everyones work. I think I will be focusing on completing full works one at a time to front load stories, as October I will be taking a hiatus to focus on studying for a work designation.
Midnight Lotus chapter 7 is up and will have 8 up shortly after- we are almost over the first plot pinch hump and gonna dive into the thick of it! I might- at some undisclosed point-share a chapter or two for All Theses Wicked Lies (ATWL) if interested as I have a skeleton draft done and ample new story ambition. But also … you know have several other WIP’s I could share too.

Whew, finally got this posted. Sorry for the delay on that y’all. We impulse got a dog this week and it’s been lots of loving and training on the new pup. My husband just couldn’t turn down his giant pitty face haha. He has been adjusting well with our other pup and seems like the perfect addition for our family. Crazy, but at least we should have some good time to settle before baby comes in early spring next year.

I’m half way through my last chapter of Ornella’s story book one! I can’t wait to end this one and started the second book. It’s been brewing in my mind for more than a year, I can’t wait see it take shape. Hopefuly I will have learn a thing or two and improve my writing and my translation issues.
