Week 3 and I still feel like death! I’m so sorry I haven’t been more active. I’m at the point where I don’t even have any clue how I’m supposed to feel better because I don’t remember what feeling good feels like. This has been the WORST postpartum period and literally none of it has been postpartum related.

Once again, I got nothing done. I’ve been mentally exhausted with all the onboarding with the new job. Even though I absolutely love it there and I feel so welcomed and appreciated, it’s draining. (Maybe it’s my age lol) But anyway, I am really hoping to be able to get back to my normal routine this week because it feels horribly unproductive and this is the worst it has been for a long time.

Hope you feel better soon. I imagine it is harder for your body to fight off illness right after you’ve given birth too. Take care of you please!
Thank you, i finally ended up going to the emergency room. Ive been here since tuesday now. 
OMG This was what I read immediatly after Manacled to get over my hump! Also not sure if I mentioned this but she is getting traditionally published!!! They are scrubing the fanfic away and turning manacled into a duology. The first one called Alchemized and should be out 2025!! PS: Have you read DMOBIL yet?

Im home, but not much better. I ended up spending almost 5 days in the hospital. Still on the mend and still trying to get better.

No update. Going to try to get some writing done today. We had an earthquake here Friday. I didn’t feel it in my building but my son said it shook his bed. Now the eclipse tomorrow. It’s an interesting month so far!
This group is officially on a catch up phase until I can get better. I have no clue when that will be, but I cant be worried about getting on and updating it, or worried about it at all. Hopefully my break isnt too long. But hopefully I can start getting better.

Hey all! Also slowly trying to get back to normal. Long story short did not get my week off and had to work and instead was in the hospital with a ruptred cyst 
I will eventually get caught up, just not this weekend. >.<

I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis on Tuesday. My whole life has pretty much changed on top of adding in a 5-week old baby (almost 6. Probably 6 by the time anyone reads this.) I’m still miserably sick. I’m on a Steroid for the next 7 weeks and that’s supposed to get me close to something normal. So far it’s not working and I’ve been on it for a week, so we will see if my doctor ever gets back to me. It’s going to be a really long road to recovery for me, but at some point I’ve gotta start picking up the pieces of my life.
It’s been a major struggle over here. I just wanted to let everyone know, I’m still alive and kind of what’s been going on with me. My follow up appointment is May 1st so not too far away, but feels like an eternity when you feel as rough as I do. Hopeful the steriod will start helping more soon.
Anyways, this is still on Hiatus. I just wanted to pop in and yeah, let y’all know I’m still alive, at least somewhat. My husband goes back to work next Saturday, so any prayers that the steroid starts doing it’s job more would be greatly appreciated.

Oh boy, I’m sorry to hear you guys have not been feeling well. I know how devastating it can be to be diagnosed with something medical and to road to recovery is a long one. I hope you guys are getting the rest you need and I’ll pray you heal soon.
I am still getting started at work, but all the free time before I build up a caseload has given me almost 40 hours a week to write at work while I wait. That said, I got the 1st half of the sequel to Daughters of the Moon done.
If anyone in here wants to continue swapping let me know. If not I will just keep working on my writing. Sending love to everyone.

Oh no! I am so sorry to hear that! I ca not imagine the stress and pain. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers and wishing for your speedy recovery. <3 Just take each day at a time. You will get through this and get better. You will get back to feeling normal and yourself. I hope you are surounded with lots of love and support as you heal and hoping that the steriods kick in! Have been busy over here as well since the move, so will likely not be able to get much done either. I never got my week off work, it;s just been too busy. >.<
