I’ve been having such a hard time getting back into writing after taking a break. If anyone has time to read over this tentative first chapter, can you give me your honest, most constructive critique? 
I do better under pressure. I believe I added those of you to the document. I’m calling it Project Alice for now. Can’t wait to dive back into your stories!

Hey friends! I’m currently in Utah spending time with family for my brother in laws wedding. (sigh in-laws) But that being said. I want to use this time to catch up on my reading and other things. So Please send me the story you would like to be included in the assignment list. I think we will simplify it and just have the name of stories available. That way you can see what others are offering and what you have read or haven’t read.
I want to take the next 2-3 weeks to get all caught up so I can actually organize this. I’m so sorry I thought I’d be coming back in full force so much more quickly.

I had been doing what is call ‘‘The Plan’’ - a guide to find the inflammatory food. Turns out I was reactive to almost everyhting, except chicken and cooked vegetables lol. I plan to restarting it once more after the summer vacations, I had it slack since a month or two.
I heard a lots of good thing about the castor oil packs. Do you apply yours on your liver?
I’ve been so occupied with the job and the kids, and the overtime, and my own re-draft (it’s almost a re-write at this point, so much things had change!) I don’t have enough time in a day to sit an read

I going camping next week off grip with the kids, and we will do a lots of activities with them, so I won’t be able to read as much as I want, but as soon as school start, I will be able to go back to a routine
*edit to add: I have this idea I have been thinking about for a while. Tell me what you think.
It’s a story about a spoiled and entitled princess wandering in the woods with her lady-on-waiting, a 40 years old women. They need to hide since the castle had been invaded and the siege is at war. Until the princess father’s army won, the lady-in-waiting was instructed to stay in the shadows, tending to the princess every need.
But she’s a brat, and the lady-in-waiting hate her with all her being. The princess complain about everything, won’t lift a finger, would gave orders to the lady-in-waiting as if they were still in the castle. The lady-in-waiting (I don’t have a name set yet) have to use her imagination to obey the princess, through gritted teeth and hidden rolling eyes.
They stay in the woods for months, until the knights found them to bring them back to the castle - they win the battle, and the king is desesperate to find her daughter again.
But they walked far from their territory, and the way back with the knights will be a long one. The knights will discover that she is not a snobby noblewoman, but rather a piss off middle age woman who can’t take anymore bullshit.
I was thinking something light, funny and sweet. I don’t often see middle age woman as the heroine and I think it can be interesting.

This sounds like a promising premise! What does the lady want most in this world, and why does she think she can’t have it? I imagine she wants things to go back to normal, but wouldn’t it be easier to leave the princess and start a life of her own? --These are just some questions I thought of when reading through what you had that made me excited to know more. I would deff read it!

Hi everyone! It’s good to be getting back into the swing of things. I’m almost done with the 2nd book in my witch series. I am planning the itinerary for the Maine vacation in Sept and I’m so excited for that. I think being in a small coastal town and one excursion we have planned will be so great for getting the vibes I wanted for the mermaid book right. We’re going to an island for the day, 2 hour boat ride to get there, and it looks so cute. Little fishing village, great views, rocky bluffs.
Also, Tori I sent you my book. Loved getting started on yours.

ohhh what’s the Plan? would be intrested to know more and I apply mine to liver and also stomach/ ovaries area for cysts and so far it has worked wonders! I would say need to do it alreast a few weeks to see results.
OMG this premise is GOLD! I can see the satirical medieval times sort of tale and with a 40 yr woman this would be amazing!!! PLEASE write this if you want a beta reader idea spit baller, etc. I am here for it! I am obsessed with this! Could even do it like “My Lady Jane” esque. Like the fantasy version of bad mom’s but with a middle-aged lady’s maid who has seen it all and is sick and tired! haha. Could have a subplot romance with a knight captain and maybe she just wants to retire? Like this is her last damn princess. The amount of comedy you could inject… yes. Also, up to chap 7 of W&H… Midnight Lotus is in a slump- just ignore it lol. I do have other stuff but don’t want to confuse you unless you want a change of pace.

Updated to chap 7 of new Wolf & hood draft. Not super productive last week but was able to get to a few stories and will continue to plug away when I have the time.

Hey Group,
I am almost done with the editing of Spells (last 7-8 chapters left). I am publishing it on Wattpad side by side, do check it out if you get time ( I have incorporated your suggestions and edits in the Wattpad version and not on docs since docs hang a lot on phone).
For my next book I will either go with the sequel of Spells (It’s a trilogy after all) or this comedy mystery book for children (have written the half first draft ). I also have a couple of short stories and a play I want to write before jumping back to writing long books. Let’s see.
For the edits, I don’t think I have the latest books of all of you. Please reshare or tell the name of the book you want me to continue editing.

Not much got done, birthday weekend
Continuing with Wolf & Hood re-edited version. @Vintaginity as you have already read I can send you something else if you want?- it is a 90% re write though so all new content and scenes. Orrrrrrr can send the sequal Witch & Magic to you (which I have sent to no one thus far as it’s a rough first draft lol.)
