Got a plan and a possible title for Project Succession!

I am on chapter 24 of Project Succession, I haven’t started though.

So, I do have some title options that I will make a poll for in this thread, yet I do have plans.

Firstly, just like the zero draft of Project Succession, I am currently over 60k words. The zero draft was 115k, so this draft is going to be shorter, which is surprising because I did mention that, just wasn’t sure it would happen. LOL!

I know I am only on chapter 24, but honestly I need to write down the changes that I plan to make for the second draft in a notebook.

However, here is the general idea of the novel series overall.

Summary of Project Succession

Aeris Alderman (the protagonist) works hard as a Knight, knowing that every action she does is a result of her not sitting still. After her father vanished from her life, forcing her to find a purpose and to get answers, she became a Knight serving the KUA to search for a father who left her and the mysteries behind why they are targeted. Aeris gets a chance to learn about herself, as she takes on a major job opportunity alone, one where she solves the mysteries behind the Thornwood Dynasty. Upon learning about what it means to be a mixed breed with Tirron blood, she dives deeper into the scandals and unsolved mysteries surrounding the dynasty and their patron deity/ancestor Saint Mal’gel. Aeris will soon learn the truth is not so kind, where her father and even her mother ties in, along with the royal heritage she never knew. As a Knight who discovers she is a hybrid heiress to the Thornwood Dynasty and Kriegman Clan, Aeris will strive to play both roles to continue her duties and to finally figure out the hidden truth behind the Succession Trials, and why her side of the dynasty are forced to deal with numerous shortcomings. There is a reason for why things are this way, Aeris will do everything to learn the ultimate truth within the false truth.

This has nothing to do with the poll, but after reading this line in your description

every action she does is a result of her not sitting still

it made me curious about your character: are you going to give her the symptoms of ADHD and autism? Might make the story really interesting! ٩(˘◡˘)۶

I never thought about it. Though, it makes some sense given that she is a doer character than a thinker character, until she becomes both a doer and thinker character.

the title I would be most drawn to would be “The Darkest Bloodline: A Broken Crown”
and then you could have different things after the colon to signify different books.

While I like the “Darkest Bloodline” part, I think you should drop the Hybrid part… Maybe go for…

The Darkest Bloodline: Child of/to a Broken Crown.

Just my thoughts here…

No, it is a good title, but the Hybrid part seems to give away much without reading the book. Leave the Hybrid bit for the story within.
