Okay, apple offers ā€œdiscountsā€ for educational stuff.

So Iā€™m getting a laptop, and am technically saving $100 HOWEVER they are low key making you pay $150 for a $150 gift cardā€¦ soooooo Iā€™m still losing $150 out of my back account but I have $150 dollars in my apple account so late I can use that money to buy something thatā€™s an apple productā€¦
But like idk, I feel like itā€™s a scam no matter what? I mean, I was lowkey thinking about buying an Apple Watch next year but stillā€¦ Iā€™m just really conflicted on what I should doā€¦

So, do I go the educational route or just buy it regularly?
