Thank you! I really tried to make it homely. Thereās always more little touches to add, but Iām very happy here. I feel safe (usually)
I got Karel another food puzzle toy and a laser toy yesterday. He loves the laser (to my surprise) and chases it around the house at full speed. Time to properly work some of that chub off. The food puzzle is neat, but after trying it one time, heās now really fast at it. I may just alternate between various puzzles and such to give him something to do. Another food-slowy-downy thing (like a plate but with dulled spikes on it) keeps him from devouring it all instantly, but it doesnāt take much thought or puzzling.
I was going to say no, but then I realized Iām not quite sure There is a kind of triangle, but whether that has anything to do with the assassin remains to be seen⦠Iām still writing it, so things might change along the way.
Thatās homes for you
Sounds like heās a very food-motivated kitty I donāt have a cat myself, but I have friends with cats, and I honestly find it really hard to keep a cat āfitā. Theyāre inside all day and most of them wonāt even go for walks if you try to take them (not to mention that it might not necessarily be a good idea, lots of pests and such outside). Of course theyāre gonna get chonky
You would not believe how bad it is. His sole motivator in everything he does is food. The first week and a half, he only gave me attention if he thought he could get food. When I didnāt give him any, he destroyed my carpet or ignored me. Even now, even though heās on a strict food schedule and knows exactly when heāll be fed (when the alarm goes off or when I go to bed/get up), he begs throughout the day
Iām mostly afraid of unleashed dogs. Sure, Karel will be leashed, but dogs can be incredibly fast and dangerous and I canāt easily pick up a 8.3kg cat.
Yikes! Our dog is like that, but she has a whole yard to burn off her energy and pick up (occasionally questionable) snacks. I was wondering whether your chonk could learn tricks based on food rewards, but I imagine thatās especially difficult with a cat. But anyway, props to you for handling it all!! Iāve been thinking of a getting a dog by myself in my apartment and I havenāt because Iām worried I wouldnāt be able to handle that.
Thatās fair. And oof, 8 kilos - thatās definitely heavy for a cat
I donāt think weāve met before but Iām Rita! I was on wattpad forums but I donāt think we crossed paths. Itās nice to see you back here! I recently returned as well.
