Yes…when the thought comes to my mind.
After my last infusion, I do need to visit my primary again next month and honestly, seeing her sooner would help.
So, my fault and my wacky ass thought process screws me over in the end.
sad sigh

These things happen, don’t worry. Maybe write it down so you remember for next time you see them Also, maybe see if any sooner appointment slots have popped up
Something my mother also tells me.
I never really do it for reasons I don’t know.
I might either forget to take it out or my mind will become distracted by something that prevents me from mentioning it.
The craziest thing is that once I get into the doctor’s office or some other place, I instantly want to leave because my body takes a hit and I become mentally and physically exhausted.
ADHD, I swear.
Maybe when you’re setting up an appointment, ask if they can give you a call back if any sooner slots become available with that doctor. That way, it’s on them to inform you. This is actually what I do for my important appointments (e.g., specialists, scans)
It makes sense you’d get hit with exhaustion from arriving. These things can take up a lot of brain and body energy, even more so if you’re having a bad run or have other issues.
Aww, man, good advice!
Making appointments is also a MASSIVE pain because I really get exhausted after that and it sucks, because once I am mentally and physically exhausted, I rather not do anything after that or for a few days because of it.
Anyway, I appreciate your comments because it is really insightful and I am grateful for it.
So, there’s only so much I can do when I am at the doctor’s because my mind is going a million miles per second.
I am rambling way too much aren’t I?
Nah, believe it or not, these problems are actually very common (even if you don’t have ADHD but I would imagine that makes it worse!), especially if it’s new experience and some other stuff going on. The only reason I’m pretty chill at this stuff is because I’ve been doing it since I was a kid so am used to the I guess “pressure” of all this stuff. And sometimes it helps having someone having a similar procedure to talk to because they can better understand.
Yeah, ADHD makes it more challenging than it should be.
Urgh!
Side topic: I tagged you in something I might be up your alley. Check it, out when you get the chance!
I’ll have a look when I get back from the shops I’ve been in bed for over 24 hours because of getting infusions and recovery so REALLY need a walk
Ah, gotcha!
I took a two hour-ish nap earlier because of mine.
Just whenever you get the chance, it will be here and around.
Take care!
