I FINALLY FIGURED OUT INSIDE THE CHAOS WHILE I WAS SLEEPING OF ALL THINGS!!!

Okay, settle down, Qualeshia!

I have finally figured out Inside the Chaos, my short story that I wanted to turn into a novel. This story is something that I was really struggling with and wanted to make it something different. But now I have figured it out.

Here is the general idea of the story.

Summary

Gwendolyn was seventeen years old when she watched her parents’ back as they left both her and her brother Elias at the Watch Haven Institution. Ever since then Gwendolyn and Elias have been struggling at the Watch Haven Institution for as long as they could remember, unable to leave and forced to live out their days at institution trying to cope. But Gwendolyn learns that there is something peculiar about Watch Haven. Not only do people never leave, nobody knows what lies outside. Gwendolyn and Elias both want to leave and return home, but at Watch Haven, leaving is forbidden and the world outside is a mystery. Can Gwendolyn and Elias along with some others free themselves from Watch Haven? What is truly going on outside that the patients aren’t allowed to see? This is her story.

It sounds better in my head, but you get the gist.

Gwendolyn went into this place at seventeen and is not twenty-three years old. Elias is her brother and he is a year younger than her.

In my head, the reason why they can leave is because the world is undergoing a change, meaning that the world is dealing with a monster apocalypse. But the patients in the Watch Haven Institution are special because they are chosen to combat the monsters of the apocalypse. All of the patients are mentally unstable people who have committed some sort of crime.

So, that is pretty much what the story is going to be about.

So what crimes did the main characters commit? And why don’t their parents feel bad leaving them there? Don’t they love their kids?

Gwendolyn killed her brother Elias. So, her parents want nothing to do with her.

So, The Elias that is with her is a figment of her subconscious mind being broken.

Update:

The longer I think about this story, the more cool ideas that I have for it. Maybe it can work as an Alagossia story.

Bump.
