I made a mistake in Red Reign that I REALLY need to change!

I wished I didn’t do this in the story. Yes it is a rough draft that is slightly edited, I just wish I didn’t use that in the story.

The thing I need to change:

Having Aeris being a Thornwood in a setting where she would not be allowed is annoying me now. Aeris is undercover and her family does not know she is in the KUA in the first place. Revealing that and having the story bend around that is NOT a great thing. Jorildyn is fine for the most part, but Aeris is the one that is troubling me. I must also hide that she is a descendant of essentially a vampire god and has a royal heritage.

The goal is to make Aeris not reveal that for a while. At least till the story reveals that for her in a way. Milisandia can still play a role by being in and out for Aeris, without being a Knight.

I NEED to change that. I am on the first to last chapter of part one in the story. I really got to change that.

I keep doing things like that too, so I decided to stop pantsing and redo my outline. It was getting so annoying changing the sex of a baby and switching people’s names, tweaking their ages and occupations, etc. Better to nail down those details first and then write the scenes. ( -.-)\(^◡^ )

I don’t even have an outline. I never write outlines.
I just pants everything.

Change what must be changed. We all write ourselves into a corner.

That’s the only thing that needs to be changed, regarding the major changes.

Anything else can be for draft two.

Update:
I am redoing the story! So, I am posting the story again, along with changing the book cover! I credited the book cover designer! I hope I did that properly. I’m going to add better author notes at the end of each chapter too, which are just questions for the readers.

Please give it another read. It is still a draft, but it is a bit better. It is just not final, polished draft better, yet great enough.

I did post six chapters again! Though, I will post more chapters next week, since I need to write the rest of part 1. Soon I will start part 2 when I can.
