Hi, I am 18 years old and about to apply for my first job. I was wondering if you guys could help me out. I have to write a cover letter to go with my resume, and I have no idea how to write one. I was wondering if you guys had any examples of the cover letters you used to help get your jobs. I know cover letters include private contact information. I don’t need to see any of that, just the body part of the letter.

cover letters are intimidating but they get easier with practice. here’s how i was taught to write them
[greeting],
My name is Copyedit, I’m writing to apply to the [job] position you advertised on [job bank]. [insert a personal reason why you’re interested in the job here, like maybe it’s a vet job and you’re super passionate about animals or something]. [insert relevant education and experience here].
Thank you for taking the time to read this email, I look forward to hearing back from you.
