Aside from world-building, Project Succession, and overall sticking to the idea the Alagossia is an expansive universe set on a planet with so much to offer.
I LOVE, LOVE Project Succession so damn much, I just don’t want that to be my main focus in terms of Alagossian stories. I genuinely want to write more stories set on Alagossia that have nothing to do with Project Succession, the novel is only part of a historical event that happened on Alagossia. The story behind that is how god banished a royal family leaving them to fall from grace and rot, only they managed to survive and rebuild an empire without the aid of god, they’ve thrived since then, because in hindsight that is was Project Succession is.
Aside from that I am so fixated on Project Succession, and I have a million other stories to focus on in terms of historical events and lore and legends to share. I don’t want to be an elderly woman who never got the chance to explore the vast world of Alagossia. And yet I know that pushing myself too much and too hard is NEVER good, though I am anxious about wanting to start something else, while still doing Project Succession.
I plan to come up with a new story, not so much in the similar vein as Project Succession, by surrounding the story behind an event that will become written in history.
So, I am thinking and pondering about that. A story like that might end up becoming the Red Reign I have been looking for and may have the right head-space for now.
What are your thoughts and feelings? In all honesty, the overall goal for Alagossia was for me to have thousands of untold stories that shaped the world through histories, legends, and lore/myth told for millions of years.
That is what Alagossia is meant to be and I still want it to be this way!
