I was at the library realizing something crucial to my struggles

I was with someone of course, but the point is that I was able read four chapters of a book without much distractions.

Another thing to mention is that I didn’t have my laptop and my phone was in my purse, but the point was that I read four chapters.

I did retain most things, but I had to blink a few times to stay on track and still finish. I was getting tired, yet I kept going no matter what.

Yes, I realized something far too late. Go to the library to read books and to kill time, along with writing without using the wifi. I was going through absolute hell trying to regain my love for reading, trying a bunch of ways to read.

Now, I have one for at home, and when I hit the library.
At home, I can read along to an audiobook. At the library, read books and stay away from the wifi when writing.

I got two options! :relieved:

The whole point I am getting at is I am always distracted and I spiral when I limit my distractions.

At least I have options to help, not hinder my reading experience.

Good for you! Having someone else there would distract me, but I’m glad it worked for you. And they let you check out audiobooks there too, don’t they?
