But in the meantime, what about non-medicated treatments…for instance, have you ever tried yoga, meditation or music therapy, and did they do any good? Listening to music definitely helps me take my mind off other things, especially songs that are tied to good memories.
I also have a little one-person trampoline in my room, and bouncing around for a few minutes usually clears my head. Is there some kind of exercise you could do with whatever you have in your room, and have you tried that before? I’m not saying go out and buy exercise equipment, but like if you have bottled water in your house, you can use those like dumbbells and just do some lifts for a few minutes to maybe refocus your mind…?
