Pick a character, any character from any story, more than one.

Let’s say it’s the new year in your character’s fictional or even real location (where they live), what would your character want to do differently for the new year? What would their goals be to change for themselves and their lifestyle? What do they want to resolve and get better at?.

Tell me, what would be your character’s new year’s resolution?

If you have a character that wouldn’t do that, still think about it anyway and comment?

The main character in my current work would have only one resolution: find a way to escape the guillotine in the morning

Secondary character: find a way to arrest or murder his uncle and take the throne

Peripheral character reminiscent of Lord Byron: seduce and then abandon the maid at his hotel in Greece, but not the one who has syphilis (>‿◠):v:

I like this… But there are too many character who would like to answer this also…

Geldrid would set goals to destroy Astiol only and free the peoples of Arillion from future thraldom…
Halen would have his old life returned…
Ossel would have every Dragon destroyed…

And SecretDurham would like to finish his book before he dies…
