Steve runs in. “Yo, Chrissy! You need to hide me! My Mom’s after me.”
Anansi groans. “What now?”
Yessei snickers to Heather lol
just for fun—a Tagif ignoring her princessly duties is wearing sweat pants and a hoodie as she passes the group.
Hota: “Oh, hey.” Their voice returns to its much more quiet, normal voice. They’re sweeping up the chapel now.
Chewvur just watches. “Can’t hide you here.”
Steve sighs. “Why not? I will be quiet.”
Pissy rolls his eyes. “You heard the man.”
“But she’s really mad. She wants to rip me apart…”
Heather makes a series of playful gestures to Yessei that Anansi will hurt them if she catches them snickering.
“You! You’re perfect! Can you be my model?!” The shrill little fairy voice zooms around Anansi’s head xD
Haha I miss her and Hailey’s flirty shenanigans…way before both got engaged xD
Gio has to do a double take…“She looks like my sister.” He shivers uncomfortably.
Eve is likely helping with some comically oversized leaf brooms she made.
She waves at the group.
Gio: “Hey, um… Pastor? Sorry, what’s your title?”
“Hero,” Hota chuckles. “But, just call me Hota, please.” They smile.
bro that was so long ago ![]()
aaand she strolls away busily partaining to nothing
Yessei: “Yeah I know, but I’m stronger than her.” She winks.
Anansi groans: “What for?”
Chewvur: “Well she can rip you apart somewhere else.”
Pissy smirks and pushes Steve out. “Look, I’ll see you later. You need to go and confront her.”
Steve sighs and closes the door and runs as fast as he can away, howling.
Pissy sighs. “Sorry about that bish. He needs mental help…”
Gio: “Oh. That’s different.”
Lockie: “Like a superhero
?”
Jordane: “can you fly?
”
Meanwhile, pat is poking and sniffing a green skinned eve XD
Like 2 years in real time XD
“I can be your damsel in distress.” Heather pokes her cheek sweetly.
“My new clothing line!” The high pitched voice continues to sound excited.
Chewvur: “Not a problem,” he murmurs. “Go get some rest.”
Hota: “No, I can’t fly.” They chuckle. “I’m the Hero of Mind. Connection to feelings and rationality are my prime connections–but I can also see into the future sometimes.” They grin.
god that really was 2 years wth
Yessei giggles when Heather pokes her cheek.
Anansi huffs: “No heels, no dresses, no skirts, and you’ve got yourself a deal.”
Pissy lays down and sighs. “I will try.”
Eve gently swats away the pale man’s hands and hurried to Hota’s side to get away. She hours to grab their hand as Lockie and Jordan say in tandem that Hota sounds more like a witch.
Time
is an illusion haha
“Okay!” The fairy poofs in front of her with a bright pink and red mohawk and green skin. “I’m Ronald,” he says, his voice a lot less squeaky like he’d gone through a stage of puberty in his sudden broth to about three feet.
Hota shrugs. “Witch, Hero, Warrior, whatever you call it. The word Pazunteb in my language is often used to refer to Heroes, although it was never really meant to be used that way—cognates in other languages indicate that was originally more like a Baron.” They squeeze Eves hand gently. “In any case, what can I do for you all?”
“Call me Mahyemai.” She crosses her arms.
”Thats our family name,” Yessei whispers to Heather, earning a flash of fangs from Anansi.”
Chewvur sits up against the wall, closing his eyes.
Pissy wakes up early and goes outside for a run not far from the camp and he comes back again. He lays back in his bed for a while.
Eer wakes up when he returns, rolling over and grumbling.
“What?” Pissy asks.
Gio introduces himself as the prince of… “A dark religion… I was just curious which religion you’re practicing? I don’t recognize it.”
Eve smiles at the hand squeeze and pressed closer to their warmth happily.
Heather nods. “You’ll have to tell me the origins later.”
Ronald nods.“Wonderful. Heather can show you my way once you’re done running your errands if your in a rush.”
Eer: “Woke me up…”
“Sorry.” Pissy nods. “Do you want breakfast? I can go and kill us a deer or something.”
Hota: “Mmm. You’ve asked the right question,” they chuckle. “And yet one entirely impossible to answer. It’s not so much a religion as a philosophy. I draw my strength from Meiste—or Homkizh, as we say, too.” They pause. “Oh, right, they don’t speak Ytos or Zispoel, I mean all of it—that is Meiste.”
Anansi: “Not in a rush but…” bloodsicles lol “…well I’ll see you later.” She nods.
Yessei: “Oh it’s quite simple really. Our mothers name was Yemai, so we took her name and added Mah- to the front of it, as is custom.” She nods. “Indeed, Alice’s last name is Mahyessei.”
