I SUCK at giving critiques and I don’t know how beta read. I don’t want to do that. I’m too selfish for that.
I just want to find a beta reader who will beta read for me. I’m not looking to swap novels to do critiques or beta read. I only want to get a beta reader for free to beta read for me.
If I can’t find one, trying to publish is going to be much harder than ever.
Can anyone help me? Scribophile can’t help me anymore.

not impossible, but probably very difficult. what you’re asking for is a huge time and labour investment, and I can understand why most people online would be reluctant to make such a commitment for free - no monetary compensation, no swaps.
that being said, you could probably find a beta-reader who isn’t a writer, a reader who just wants to read free stuff. like ARC readers for published books. maybe you can try to ask here, or find a forum/facebook group dedicated to beta/ARC readers
I suppose. Maybe you could skill swap for something else. They can beta read for you and you can do something else for them like art, prints, tarot reading etc etc.

I did find a site that is good for getting beta readers. And I don’t need to swap at all.
