Title: Forget Me Not

Author’s name: Clementina Doyle

Genre: romance, mystery

Color scheme: Lavender, dusty purple, the color “mystic” below, dark green, overall all colors should look a little subdued

image

Short summary: It’s your typical girl meets boy and they fall in love, until, Andrew breaks Coral’s heart and then she gets into a car accident and loses her memory. So when she meets the Andrew again, she doesn’t remember who he is and he tries to make her fall in love with him again.

Meanwhile, there’s another girl, Nancy, that comes along claiming to be Andrew’s real girlfriend. She claims he had gotten into a car accident and had forgotten her. Proof? The scar on the side of his head that he doesn’t remember how he got. What’s going on here? Who is telling the truth?

Ideas (include pictures and/or word descriptions): a girl holding a bouquet of forget-me-nots (or wearing a crown or necklace of forget-me-nots) with a blindfold or something over her eyes to cover them up. It’ll be best if she’s not smiling too much. Long hair or short hair, doesn’t matter. Age is teenager.

Fonts/font styles(optional): Cursive, but readable.

Hope you have fun with this

Hey Manya, I was wondering if you’d be willing to make a Fake for me, it might be a bit of a challenge though.
The thing is, I’m in the proces of making a cover for my book, the problem is that I have run out of ideas completely. I’m hoping that - in case you take on my request - the finished product will spark some inspiration or guidance on where to go. This means I might not be able to fill in the entire form, if that means you have to decline my offer, so be it.

Title: The Hunt

Author’s name: Wolftunes

Genre: Coming of age/Urban Fantasy/Werewolf

Color scheme: I really have no concrete idea, sorry if this is a problem. In case this helps, the story takes place in a foresty area with many little towns. (maybe think grass green/concrete greys/brick color/light sky blue for the village and various greens/browns for the forest?)

The story is quite dark (some unhealthy dynamics and habits get shown + teen angst) but not grim dark (it’s mainly about friendship and there are some happy scenes too) so also some lighter colors.

Short summary: Elliot tries to keep the fact that he is a werewolf hidden at all costs, which proves to be a challenge when he starts developing a friendship with Victor, a classmate.
One day Victor finds out about the secret, but after some effort and time he understands Elliot doesn’t mean any harm.
Then Victors overprotective parents find out about their son’s newfound opinions and flip completely, pulling him out of school and moving across the country.
Five years later Victor runs away from his family and starts traveling around in the hopes of finding his childhood best friend Elliot

Ideas: like I said, none, sorry if that makes things difficult.
I have included some inspirational photos I used/wanted to use for covers in case you’d need them, but I’d rather see what you’d come up with without outside influence first if that’s possible.

I mean if you want to you can

the problem is that I have no idea when this story’s gonna get published (it contains a lot of topics I am quite unfamiliar with so research is required. Also procrastination is a pain). But yeah if it gets there one day I might use this cover!

Title: Telling Maria to Open the Windows

Author’s name: Perry Anne

Genre: general fiction, romance

Color scheme:

Dark colors from here

image

Bright colors from here

Short summary: Sarah is a young, working woman who hasn’t seen her sister Maria in ten years, but she remembers Maria as an outgoing girl with lots of friends. One day, Sarah decides to return home, but things have changed. Her parents are always arguing and Maria has shut herself in her room. When Sarah goes in her room, Maria hides under her covers. She won’t even open the window for some fresh air due to her agoraphobia. Sarah is angry with her sister at first, but then she realizes that things need to change at home. So, Sarah takes it upon herself to mend her family and help Maria overcome her fear of the outdoors.

Ideas (include pictures and/or word descriptions): A young woman (Sarah) with short hair leaning against a wall or door on one half of the cover. Sarah’s should be bright in the room. The other side is another young woman (Maria) with long black hair hiding in a blanket standing or curled up on the floor. Maria’s side is the dark colors.

Something like this, only adults.

Have fun
