Knowing my stepdad he will meticulous pick off any bug or snail or whatever that interferes with his ‘crop’.

I think your mom is being a bit overboard here if it is legal, and yet might just be horrified by how much it smells and what the neighbours think…

He didn’t ask for permission before co-opting the entire greenhouse. My mom had plans for other vegetables and the like.

Yeah, but in his defence… Carrots and other veg don’t bring in the money like Hash does…
Yet on your mothers side, heathy living and the good stuff of home grown veg cannot be denied either…
Either way I feel like I’m not on the winning side here…
Still, I hope that they sort it all out and become friends again soon… No point holding grudges I guess…

It’s still illegal to sell if you’re not a dispensary or have a license. I’d rather he not get a felony, yknow? And not starving to death is more useful than getting baked is.
The two of them are fine. My mom just wished he’d asked first.
