It’s a pretty simple game. Someone names a musician, and the next person has to name a musician that starts with the previous entry’s last letter.
Example:
Person 1: Ariana Grande
Person 2: Eminem
Person 3: Metallica
and so on.
So to clarify:
- Musical groups count, whether they be boybands or rock bands or choirs or orchestras (e.g. BTS, Queen, Libera, The Beatles, Kiss, Berlin Philharmonic, Wiener Philharmoniker)
- Individuals from musical groups can also be named (e.g. Chris Martin, Adam Levine, Slash, Park Ji-min)
- Composers can also be mentioned (e.g. Chopin, Ludwig van Beethoven, John Williams, Hans Zimmer)
- If the musician’s name ends in a number, you can start with either the last letter or the number (e.g. if someone says Blink-182, 2NE1 and Kenny G are both valid responses)
- Basically if they have an album or track that you can buy/stream you can mention them
