Watermark:
When creating our own codes, it’s nice to leave a small mark on it, so that’s why this next coding activity is going to be creating your own watermark. Feel free to go to my resources post and grab some special character. Be sure to make it unique!
Examples:
<span style="font-size: 10px; display: block; margin: 8px; font-family: copperplate; text-align: center; letter-spacing: 1px;"> ⟪ coded by Aevyn ⟫ </span>
Bonus:
If you already have one or are itching to do something extra, make a code answering these question (don’t forget to add your water mark;)
1. When/how did you get into coding?
2. Why do you code?
3. What are some struggles as a coder?
Code Example:
— coding questions —
1. when/how did you get into coding?
we used to have a coding program back in elementary called “code”, this was what got me into coding. Though, it did get a little boring and I didn’t like the type of code. After joining the forums and lurking in the coding 101, I found html fun and interesting.
2. why do you code?
it’s something for me to escape into and pass the time. I can do so many cool things with code, and that’s why I love doing it (plus, I can make things look pretty and aesthetic ).
3. what are some struggles as a coder?
i found it a little hard to understand the language in the beginning and my old codes kinda looked awful, but it eventually got easier (although I still barely understand it). Sometimes I miss a small things like a semi-colon or misspelling and the whole code would not work:’(
