Genre: Dark Fantasy/High Fantasy/Portal Fantasy
Colors: Dark red, dark green, and black.
Ideas: In my head, I see a dark but fairytale-esque forest taking up the background. The title is in Kramer Font, and the rest of the text is something elegant and bold. I see a skull on top of the title and two wolves below the title. I don’t really have any pictures; I want you to imagine them. The thick trees. The wolves. Also, add a little blood around the title if you can.

During the Spring of 1998, 24-year-old Arisa Jones receives a phone call from Evelyn Jones, her 74-year-old grandmother who suffers from dementia. Living in a three-story manor all by herself, Eveline asks Arisa to travel to North Carolina to help her.
While deep cleaning the manor, Arisa accidentally discovers a heap of cassette tapes buried beneath one of the broken floorboards on the bottom floor. What she finds is more than she signed up for, as the man talking in the tape speaks about a long line of serial murders from 1801 to 1963.
After listening to the locals and rummaging through the records, she learns that the string of serial murders left a long-lasting scar on the town’s history. Dubbed “The Bloody Summers,” the mystery behind the serial murders was never resolved, and the identities of the serial killers were never revealed.
Until now. . .
With each cassette tape played and each new clue uncovered, Arisa Jones may very well find that some secrets are better left buried and that the past should stay in the past.

Banner Ideas: I would like to request this as a gif banner too! This will be a chapter header for each section, so I want it to be as eye catching as possible. General ideas = Cassette tape playing in a cassette player. Old-fashioned (like black-and-white) and maybe old-film tape, etc. I’m very flexible with the images and designs, so long as they are suspenseful & mysterious.
