I usually blame too many stories on ADHD brain.
My brainnwent to a bunch of bananas for the grouping of twats . Literal thinking strikes again.
And is OMF a mafia story or something else?

It’s a forced proximity enemies to lovers type thing. I tried my hand at mafia and… failed epically ![]()
UGH I TAKE ON TOO MUCH
swedishman (he’s alive!) broke disgruntled vampire out of vampire jail and they zoomed to get to the next destination, that is, the ghost town where the fmc is Freaking Out.
should i name the getaway driver?
she won’t be here very long.
You at least finish most of them. Minimum of a 3rd, are staring at me with contempt. Lmao
But yeah, we can’t do everything.
The last thing that happened was that Agatha and her sister Charis were kidnapped by the mysterious evil sorcerer who lives in the clouds over the duchy of Bumbershoot. (♯^.^ღ)
“Why, Charis! I think we’ve been escorted into the wrong carriage. Those horses aren’t real at all! They don’t step smoothly like carriage horses, and they have steam escaping from the seams joining their legs to their bodies! Whatever shall we do?”
Charis clapped her hands. “Oh, this is wonderful! Maybe we’ll have an adventure after all! Who do you suppose is kidnapping us?”
“It must be someone working for the Earl of Embonpoint. Perhaps they expect to make money for more weaponry by taking hostages, but how will we pay the ransom now that Father’s dead?”
“Do you suppose they’ll torture us? I do hope they don’t ruin my new dress!”
“Oh, Charis!” Agatha tried to speak to the driver, but discovered he was mechanical just like the horses. “Charis! Where do you suppose he’s taking us?”
“I don’t know, but it HAS to be better than going to Aunt Martha’s!”
Back in 19, on Mini Moo, for the simplifying:
“I could take a shower, here, but the hot water gets cold real quick…” Vance offered. “But I need to get cool first, rest for a minute. It’s too damn hot for this time of year.”
“Angling to get in my tub again?”
“Does it come with sandwiches?”
It reminds me of this:
Time to write something totally different, with different characters, that isn’t related to this. ![]()
Kidnapping as an adventure? XD Sounds like fun ![]()
Reminds me of this funny little story a YouTuber shared. It was something they wrote in junior high. Two characters were being haunted by a monster in a forest. MC’s friend was not at all terrified of the monster that haunted them, and treated the entire thing as a fun little adventure. She only decided to run when she remembered she was going to be late for her favorite TV show ![]()
It was funny because in the last scene, the girl screams and the MC is like “Did you see the monster? We should go home.” The girl says something like “Yes, we should!! I’m going to miss my favorite TV show!”
YAYYY!!!

Thanks!
Dead By Sunrise
Jamila is curious about that Arcan sailor who can speak Ipt and remembers his name: Mufakor Hadin. She considers pursuing him. The narrator comments that nineteen doesn’t make her any wiser and Mufakor is probably only after her for her looks.
Mini Moo, still…
“Yes, Ben. Thomas told us about that. Baiting a boy into doing stupid things is beneath you.” Pa’s tone was sharp, only to crack before he could finish his criticism. “Just like ignoring clear warnings from older men isn’t good.”
There it was, the disappointment. No punishment, just you didn’t live up to who you could be. She had tried telling Vance that there was so much more a father expects of their child when they live a disciplined life. Perhaps Vance couldn’t see it because he had himself objected over so much that had surrounded Ben. He hadn’t become a disciple, he was just naturally halfway there–culture, personal integrity, he had it instinctively. It was a burden, no matter how gentle the expectations were–no matter which man it came from. “Yeah, Dad, Ben’s on me–and mostly himself. But I wasn’t sure of Bill. I mean, I figured half of it out before we fought, but I had no clue he was that far off earlier. And I got a lot of it because I now know Vance. I’m not going to allow that to happen again.”
“So you knew for certain by that last Thursday that you couldn’t handle Bill. You kept it to yourself for a full week before you brought all that trouble into a house with your younger siblings in it?”
Tears stung her eye–she refused to shed them. She’d help Kaylee all over again. She’d want someone to have enough balls to confess to the evil in her friend’s life, to pull her out of it–even thought it was Cotton. Anise couldn’t see a way to change anything without leaving everyone lost and at loose ends. “What an awful way to put that.”
“It’s the way you have to think. It’s not just you against the world. It’s all you drag in affecting the innocent lives around you–even when you’re not at fault.”
“I’m sorry.” It was all Anise could think to say to that, as they rounded closer to the treehouse. “But I can’t think of a way that would have saved Kaylee any sooner…if she’s saved at all.”
“I’m not cursing the good outcome of the ill, Baby Girl. I wish you had come to me, is all. Let me figure it out. We weren’t comfortable sending you to sleep over there in the first place. But you’ve known Bill and Carl all your life, and you are near-grown. I expected a warning so I could be the one to have it out with him, at the first sign of inappropriate behavior.” Her Pa leaned up against the treehouses’ steps–looking too young for the tiring years. 'It’s not easy managing a child’s life, especially one that’s almost an adult. You’re going to have the most control over it, no matter what rules we stick to. That’s especially true when you withhold things from us–and you’ve always been like that–Anise vs. the world. I’ve always been in awe of your strength, but maturity is learning when it’s time to go against your habits. A weak person needs to learn to stand up for themselves, and the strong need to learn to yield. It’s a maturity I’ve been waiting on, and after this? I’m not sure we can wait–danger comes looking for my wild little girl. One day soon you’ll leave home and our opinions will only matter if we matter. And in another era…"
The struggle of writing a strong father and still writing a teen story where the girl does what she wants takes a ton of balance. This talk was a “long time in coming” in the story.
Simple edit of 31: 1 more chapter and I’m out of Mini Moo, outside errors.
Two days. Days of sitting through classes dressed the way she always dressed, and then she was going to put on something girly. Two days of staring at mint walls that reminded her of mold, and she was going to be in a real ballroom. The venue was off-campus, for the first time in over 30 years. She wouldn’t be dancing in her own gym. There, she might as well dress as herself because the gym’s decorations would definitely be lipstick on a pig. It felt like stepping into a new world.
Girly felt foul in her mouth, like filth or moist, words that shouldn’t exist because they aren’t appealing. But she kept peeking at the dress, trying to figure out why she was so damned excited to wear it–and a little scared. Calling it girly didn’t cut through that feeling.
Oh, she had dresses she barely touched–somber navy, retro floral prints, sweater dresses for deaths and holidays. This was one that Kaylee would wear.
That meant she crossed the line from cute to something more. Anise didn’t know if she could handle being sexy. She did not doubt that Vance’s mind would be in the gutter even if everyone else confused her with her cow Minnie. His mind was in the gutter when she was dressed like a hobo with her feet muddied by dung. He wasn’t the litmus test for what this dress meant.
Lunar Heart, Shadow Bound
Pinti and friends fight Humans and Hybrids who have guns. It would have ended badly if not for the help of some Humans with red hair helping them out.
Ghost corgi knife fight
I’m starting to think that Nobuyuki Fukumoto is starting to have an effect on the way I write my characters, especially my anti-heroes. What would have been a simple role-swap fanficiton now has the MC create an elaborate plan of faking amnseia in order to defect from the evil empire more effectively. And nobody suspects her, because it’s such a good lie!
I think I drew that character before?
Interesting how we both last ended on fight scenes ![]()
That sounds cool! But also hard to write. How’s it going?
My progress is slow, one chapter per day. I more or less came up with it on the spot.
