A few contenders.
Leon is a maths, physics, and mechanical savant. Leon is also a talented Classical pianist. He just likes acting as a muscled thick-as-a-wet-plank jock because it thoroughly annoys his ‘little’ step-sister. Also, for Leon, piano playing time is wasted machine tinkering time.
Krista is more intelligent / better educated than most high school teachers. But Krista intentionally achieves good (not excellent) grades because that’s all she needs for her academic goals (enlisting as an officer in the IAF after high school), and she doesn’t want the attention, or reputation and expectations, of being a Top 1% student. Krista also enjoys acting as a brazen overt flirt (even by Israel’s standards)* as a means of unsettling any adult she encounters, and also as a means of hiding her true talents / vulnerabilities; being more nurturing, wise, compassionate and emotional than most adults.
*The film You Don’t Mess with the Zohan is documentary. Well, the first half is.
Dov, during his junior high school years, discovered a remarkable talent for ballet. However, Dov often down-played his dancing skills as he didn’t enjoy the negative attention from his male peers (or any attention), and any stage Dov was set to perform on had to be re-enforced…Talent or not, the teenage Dov still had the physique, weight, and strength of an international Rugby Union front-row player…
And Dov’s first, blunderous / near-catastrophic, experience with sex resulted in his rapid acquisition of PhD level knowledge in the female anatomy and intimate / tantric massages, for fear of any future and otherwise guaranteed harm. Dov’s high school nickname of Ash (short for Australian Stock Horse) was also an informal classification. Dov is keen to keep such knowledge and experiences a secret, due to his persistent nature of being shy, solitary, humble, and easily flustered. Unfortunately, Dov now lives in Israel, and Krista swiped Dov’s high school journals on first sighting.
Freyja didn’t come with an instruction manual. No one knows what the upper limits of her abilities are, or if she has any limits. Strangers tend to avoid Freyja because she emits a faint aura of a complex belittling orphan girl, and of a possibly lethal (although unidentified) trans-human.
Don’t shoot her, that will only upset her ~ Blazing Saddles, paraphrased.
