Cashless ways of paying break around here all the time so thereās not much choice between carrying and not carrying cash because you never know when theyāll break

Depends on what theyāre guilty of. Ten cannibals who kidnap and eat children released into the world can cause so very much suffering, but why should one innocent have to spend his life in prison for falsely being accused of being a political opponent of a dictator? Itās a case for situational ethics, but you havenāt allowed an option for āsometimesā.

Iām working on a book of fictional TV shows. Should I have entries for adaptations of works I havenāt actually experienced for myself (e.g. a book I havenāt read)?

Depends on how much you say about those books. Are you just giving the title and a description of the plot? Then sure! But if you actually need to know how the characters interact and what the themes and whatnot are, then I donāt think the Wikipedia page on it or CliffNotes, etc. is going to be enough to convince your readers that you know what youāre talking about. I dunno, lol.
I made another character called Alfredo, but never Alf. It works for him because heās middle aged, and it just suits his personality.
I think that Julian suits this character a lot more than Alf:
