Yes, I am working on the Julian story and the Che story (related to the winning entry) but would anyone here be interested in a story based around Reggaeton?
- YES
- NO
Choose wisely.
I am slightly thinking about new ideas for a story. I only want to focus my time on two stories. I love Project Succession, but I would like to start something new and different. I only need to select one to work on two different stories, no more than that.

A. An apprentice to a Mage Lord was placed in a weird circumstance where she is believed to be the Mage Lord by the Mage society. She must pretend to be the Mage Lord when she is just the apprentice who was due to be fired and stripped of her apprenticeship. She uses this as a way to work up the ladder to success, knowing full well she is not skilled in magecraft, along with murdering her boss which she is preventing from coming to light.
B. A young man working as a lower level Knight from the KUA thinks he is getting the job or promotion of a lifetime, yet he learns that he is being place in the worse situation and has to fight for survival in a world, where he will confront monstrous entities and bizarre beings that are out to hide a secret that could cause calamity to every Alagossian.
C. After the Pillar Fall and the vanishing of the Mechanical Drought, a group of four friends travel to learn the truth behind the most famous and mysterious event that shook the world in a weird way, only to be caught in a terrible conspiracy surrounding a lone woman who is accompanied by a female Machina.
D. The assassination of a Kingâs right hand man, forces him to leave for seven years. He returns as a spy, pretending to finish what he has started which is to destroy the monarchy and place himself on the throne to rebuild it. Unfortunately, he has to deal with the Kingâs bastard daughter who shares the same goalâŚor does she really?

Has anybody ever taken all the tropes and cliches that you hate or just dislike, turning it into a full of twists and turns?
- Yes, I am writing stories like that. I do it all the time.
- No. Why would I waste my time? I hate them for a reason.
- Maybe, I will try it out someday.
- I donât know if I would do something like that now or ever or in the past.
Which do you guys think sounds most interesting with absolutely no context?
- The Sunstone and Moonstone
- The Emerald Amulet
- The Diamond City
- The Garnet Brooch
Honestly, I am vibing with option A, very much!
The thing is I need to figure out what a Mage is and does in the world of Alagossia. I know that it is a job title, what the job entails is something worth pondering. Magecraft is NOT what the magic system is called in Alagossia, rather than what Mages do for their job.
So, I am digging option AâŚa lot.
I LOVE asking this question:
Would you read an epic standalone novel with a word count over one million words?
- HELL TO THE NO! ARE YOU HIGH?!
- Maybe, maybeâŚ
- Yes, I love reading that much!
- I have no ideaâŚ
- Only if you pay a lot of money per chapterâŚ
If it was a really good book, sure! Iâve got books on my Kindle right now that are over a thousand pages, and one is over 4000 pages. So sure, why not? But it would have to be a good story that holds my attention. ÂŻ\_(ď˘)_/ÂŻ
Depends on your definition of a âgood bookâ. So, it is a novel that has everything you absolutely want in a fiction book, just the word count is over a million words in a single book. NOT A SERIES OF BOOKS, JUST ONE SINGLE BOOK!!!
In all seriousness, imagine buying a physical copy of that book in hardback. I say that if you never got a Kindle. LOL!
Which recording that Elvis Costello made of his song âComplicated Shadowsâ do you prefer?
- The 1996 rock original
- The 2009 country rerecording
Is Churro gonna stick with JosFra and make Churroverse spin-offs?
- PASTRY BETTER DO THAT!
- HELL YEAH!
- FAILURE AINâT AN OPTION, CHURRO!
- If you need encouragement, message me or hit me up and I will help you stay on track, Churro.
Big decision time.
So, one of my spin-offs to my main series is a YA Fantasy-Sci-Fi series focusing on a character who, by the standards of her species, is a teenager/young adult. Should I use:
- Chapter Titles
- No Chapter Titles (Just Numbers)
My vote is to use chapter titles for that kind of story, BUT, I wouldnât worry about giving them names yet if it doesnât come easy. Just number them until you are ready to add in titles at the end.
Who has a good day?
- Good
- Bad
- In the middle
I plan to add them at the end if I end up doing them. More wanted to see what other people thought of having them in the first place ![]()
