These are really amazing. I love the mystery and lore behind these places.
Do you have buildings that work the same way? Left untouched for who knows how long? Doesn’t have to be castles and palaces neither, it can be anything.

There are some but I haven’t actually started developing them. I have names but that’s about it. There is:
More might show up as I write. Who knows
You got a lot to work with, don’t ya?!
So many worlds, characters, and more!
I admire stories like yours! Huge epics in science-fiction and/or fantasy.
I aspire to write such a thing.
thinking about it Geez! Maybe you’re giving me too many ideas without even trying to! Makes me want to combine all three projects into one singular story that I need to keep yet retain my focus.
Gosh, darn you, @alenatenjo! LOL!
Yeah, it’s probably a good thing I can’t work full time for foreseeable future
There’s a lot of noise in my head and writing all these things seems to help for some reason. And I get to write my stories as I want. There’s just a lot of information to keep track of, thus my many sketches, notepads, word docs and my ever-growing wall of sticky notes. All my works are linked together, even the ones that don’t take place in the same Creation. And the best part is somehow it works Writing does take a while but I’ve found dividing the load into story arcs has helped a lot.
Honestly, I keep getting more locations popping into my head so much so that I actually now keep a notepad next to my bed to write down names and basic details as necessary I also sort of have an order in which to develop all these locations. Hell, the Dark Continent gets mentioned in IUP2 while in the Underworld so that’s a thing. And I get to drop hints throughout my works that link them all together
Everything is building up to book 7
I advise not doing this unless you have a lot of free time and no social life
I actually do. I am always in my home unless I have a medical appointment, family bonding time, or spending hours or days with friends. Otherwise, I am home with loads of free time.
Then you should be good
Yeah, the thing is just getting there! I will, though it will take time.
nervous laughter
There’s quite a few lol
Since the world is kind of destroyed, there’s a lot of ruins hanging around certain areas on the map. A lot of the characters will question what the place used to be, but I never really go full detail into it, so it’s pretty much left as a mystery.
I plan on adding more places for them to visit because I didn’t get to do it a lot in the first book. But there are some big buildings they will walk by or explore, specifically ones that will be similar to modern ones, but I may do a couple of really old ones. c:
Yeah, in fantasy settings this is common, for me.
Tell me, TELL ME!
Acoss…
After the end of the First War of the Arilion, Oban began the largest of all defensive builds… During that time those who fled from Olban (the imperial city) began building their own settlement, and after many thousands of years it became a wonderful and thriving city.
Four years before the events of our tale the Drakes of Kel did indeed destroy this city of men utterly. Their need, to find the last of the Drake Herders and end that which was decreed by another… Jortundul the awakened. The Drake who sought to be free of their suggested thraldom by song. Songs that swayed the subdue of their nature and led to being herded…
That day was full of fire and death… And Ossel, son of Odedra saw much that day, and the death of Odedra, King of Acoss…
This is a modern fall of a kingdom, but there are others that are unveiled in the lands of Arillio… The Childwood is one, as is Heldredth the oldest settlement of this world, and others that have been lost to time and folk-law in rumour and misguided telling for centuries…
