So, tell me, what is on your mind at the moment? (Part 1)

Scotch is a fox-human hybrid. Could there be things he’s allergic to because of this? Random thought I never thought about.

Probably part of a critter exchange program.

I feel that this also fits the worm conversation.

The result of the Pillar Fall after the Ancient War is akin to the devastation the dinosaurs faced when they were wiped from existence, but though the world faced something horrifying, the world recovered through the whole thing…sorta.

Knowing that I will NEVER (probably) get a third season of Magi is something I MUST accept.

I guess I’ll deal with it…

Apparently the Hunters from Halo are a worm hive-mind, with power-armour and plasma cannons.

Trunks should be careful with dressing his worm collection in Saiyan gear.

If that armor has needles on it, it would be the scariest thing in all of existence to Goku and Vegeta.

Update: I made a phone call to the places that take adults with adhd/autism and talked to one person and left a message with another.

Meta is apparently down. No Fb, no Threads, No Instagram. I don’t do everything through there all day, but it’s a pain as it’s a less costly way to get a hold of my father.

It apparently affects Venmo transactions, too. Strange.

Yeah, I barely go on Facebook anymore now. I only go onto it to look up people I used to know, and to check out events, and pages related to people and things I know. But it is a cost effective way of catching up with, and talking to family, like Whatsapp.

I wonder if the web version of Whatsapp’s down too? I doubt the app is. I know Meta owns it.

I got my laptop from 2005, a Powerbook G4 somewhat productive again. It can pretty much do almost anything, except for surf the web competently. Doing so would take a lot of work, adjustments and tweaks and a modern browser fork that can support high quality rendering on an old machine.

It can still stream video livestreams and download/stream videos from Youtube through an app called PPCMC, edit photos in Acorn, use iMovie (if you dare), Word process, use Scrivener and it can even read email (thanks to a few ‘hacks’ to make it modern/compatible), and share/view files on my main iMac/Macbook.

It still needs a program that can convert video into a more compatible iMovie friendly format, and a version of Photoshop onto it because Acorn is pretty basic, and GIMP doesn’t work on it for some reason. It probably needs an earlier version, which I need to find in an archive.

The only other limitation on it is finding the apps you want, and modern app compatibility but it’s not impossible to find older programs with similar usage to the modern ones. And some people have even managed to get a modified version of Discord to run on G4 machines.

Other than that, it’s alright for a simulator to use older programs on, if you know your limits, and can give it realistic usage.

It’s the cyber age. You know the old adage:

1980: they’re wiretapping us!
2020: Hey, wiretap, what’s a good recipe for pancakes?

Basically, other social platforms are a good idea to keep up because this crap is going to continue to happen. My AT&T was knocked out, what a week back? 2? If this had gone out on the same day, I’d not be messaging ANYONE, since most my messaging of irl people is through FB messenger (oldies) and phone.

So, it’s a good idea to keep redundancies. I wouldn’t have known if Google wasn’t trending “Twitter flocking” over it, for example.

But the best part is it’s “Super Tuesday”, one of the more quiet election days, as a part of the Primaries. I expect the tinfoil hats, after this.

Yes, haha. My Dad is more like the first one. GenZ are like the second one, ala Alexis. I don’t care for these smart speakers, or anything. It’s not a thing that I care about, or want around me.

But yeah, they are a good idea to keep up with people if the networks keep going down. Yeah, my friend said that his network was out (AT&T). Nationwide issue. Not messaging anyone would be awful.

Yeah, it is. Twitter can sometimes be useful, but not a lot. I am working on the Powerbook for an extreme last resort as well.

Redid Project Summoner and finished chapter 1, part 1 today.

Tomorrow I’ll do Project Dynasty then go back to Project Summoner Thursday because on Friday I have Project Merellian to go back to.

It’s becoming more annoying for me to do things on the site on my phone, in terms of making topic threads and making comments.

I can’t get this on my new laptop because of reasons…
