The only decks that I think get away with this is Osho Zen and Voyager. I don’t know if you are familiar with them but neither are specifically marketed as “queer”.

Uhm, okay, so I’m in a public chat group…
Being in an open, public chat group is… weird when out of the 200 people there, the ten or so who are talking the most are the teens, and then the problems they deal with, you know, teen problems, they talk about. Of course they don’t just talk about cards. They talk about school, the hardships, the tests, the friends, the parents, and sometimes even DV… I don’t weigh in unless it seems to affect the entire group, like, someone’s acting out…
I feel like I shouldn’t be too involved though, you know? Let them work it out. But then today…one member started posting…well, s—ide thoughts (you know what I mean), and you can’t ignore that, right? So,…
Did I mention this is supposed to be a group for Pokemon card collectors?
I feel like I should…you know, only stick to Pokemon chat from here on. I feel like I’m getting too involved with the teen users. I shouldn’t be. Right? It’s weird. I don’t talk about my life other than Pokemon, they know I have a job, but they don’t know about anything else. They don’t even know I’m a woman. I don’t think they know, anyway.
I just think of Colleen Balinger being in group chats with teens and being weird about it.
There are adults in the group and anyone can join it. It’s open to the public. But maybe…I should stick to pokemon and cards. Stop intervening. Idk…it feels weird talking to these teens and I know they’re teens, you know.
Or am I overreacting? Maybe this is the era of public group chats? It’s how it goes. Is Discord any different? YouTube or IG any different?

Discord is having issues requiring ID’s to sign in, and it is filled with mentally ill teenagers. In some ways it is worse.

when was the last time I was here? uh, I’m double majoring in religions as well as classics now. And i’m getting super into the analog movement so now I have a portable cd player, a cd/dvd burner, and a polaroid impulse which is older than I am.
Yes, technically those things are not analog, the point is physical media over the online consumerism hellscape.
I’m having trouble moving away from youtube but I’m hoping to get away from that this week while I’m on break.
How is everyone doing? Is anyone else familiar with the analog trend?
