First world problems, or the ravings of a spoilt brat.

Bank holiday rave this weekend. The organiser (my ex) wouldn’t put me on the guestlist. He has a personal vendetta against me I think.

For the past year I haven’t had to worry about entry & lines for the parties I go to because well it’s a small city and I’m networked enough (or so I thought) and I’ve been working at the cool art gallery. I would call in a favour from my bosses but they’re away in Canada, and I can’t call the DJ I’m close to because he isn’t performing.

I dunno I don’t wanna be regular. I’m a star goddammit! I’m performing at Pride, and I’m booked for a cabaret like come onn I’m fun. I’m a star! Put me on the list. I’ll likely be freezing outside in my skimpy bona clobber. I’m a star!

Why do so many published authors that are so-called ā€˜great writers’ and ā€˜great storytellers’ have prose dryer than Death Valley in the middle of the midday heat?

I must be either a masochist or I just don’t care, but I have severe carpal tunnel syndrome in my right hand and I keep on typing.

I should be taking it easy, but it seems I have a lot to say.

So, I just learned that there’s an abandoned 100-year-old zoo (now tourist hike spot) in Cisco, Texas where a bear was mysteriously poisoned and it was never solved all these years. Also, I cannot find any information on the superintendent Dr. Charles H. Hale.

There may have been financial troubles, but can’t confirm.

But this bear murder mystery… and not to mention the bear was one of the first animals they got in the zoo. Who would want to poison a bear? Or maybe it was an accident covered up?

There’s a story here.
