So, tell me, what is on your mind at the moment? (Part 2)

I know this one is cliche but Careless Whisper has a brilliant one too. Our House by Madness as well, right?

I haven’t heard ā€œCareless Whisperā€ in a while. Thanks for reminding me.

As for ā€œOur Houseā€, there is prominent saxophone, but there doesn’t seem to be a dedicated saxophone solo.

Why are people so immature that they think any slur is funny? No. It’s not.

Myvanta has interesting hobbies :joy:

The sun was blinding as it shone through the branches of my favourite tree. There was not a single cloud in sight, but it was sold and windy.

I bundles my coat against the chill of the day and surveyed the tree before me.

It was snowy, even more than the ground, and it would be hard to make the climb up to my usual spot. Thankfully, I brought a small broom and a blanket so that I could clear the area, but the real up there was dangerous and slippery.

I used my rope to hoist myself up there, then used my broom to clear the branch. I set my blanket roll up to the branch, perched myself there, and lay down on it.

Time for a good day of people watching, I thought. Let’s do this.

[thanks self for using a safety rope while falling]

But I think I was about to die of mortification instead… the rope pulled taught, yanking me roughly to a stop. Hale’s eyes flashed surprise as I suddenly hung before him like a human pendulum. Then, they hardened, and his expression turned unreadable, even to me. I heard him grinding his teeth as he looked at me with venom in his gaze, the poison sending premonition down my spine in shivers.

ā€œHi,ā€ I said sheepishly, ā€œFancy seeing you here?ā€
