So, tell me, what is on your mind at the moment?

Fashion is interesting. Historically.

So, is Goodreads trying to say something in response to that?

Geez! That screams worrisome!

I’m reading Litfic and they’re bombing me with Heartstopper, why? :rage:

Goodreads… dunno what to do with you anymore…

I don’t even see a connection with that anyway!
Like from what you got, why would Heartstoppers even be an option for them to pick?

No idea. I don’t even like more positive, lighthearted, fluffy romances, regardless of orientation. Not my thing.

Goodread isn’t doing so great these days, huh?
I think GR is trying to get you to read peppy stuff by trying to show some “humor”.

The title They Both Die at the End is like the opening line of Helsreach.

I will die on this world ~ Grimaldus.

…Not really how the story ends, but close…

Dude, I can top that. Goodreads once sent me this message: Because you liked War and Peace by Tolstoy, we recommend this book: The Butter Battle by Dr. Seuss. No lie. Um…okay, yes they are both classics, and yes, they’re both about conflict, but seriously, Goodreads? ☜(ˆ▿ˆc)

Tolstoy to Dr Seuss?
What the huh?

I know, right? I strongly suspect they need to fix their algorithm or something. (♯^.^ღ)

Unfortunately, this book doesn’t sound as dramatic or war-thirsty/edgy as this video. This is pretty good for a fan-made video. And it doesn’t have an armageddon in it :joy:

The narration in this and the prose is top-notch.

Living to kill, until finally killed.

I will die on this world, I will die on Armageddon.

Not at all. I am trying to get 20 books to read to see if it improves the algorithm, but I doubt it will.

Maybe, but I will never read Heartstopper. It’s not my cup of tea. If someone else likes it, fair enough, but not I. And that’s ok.

Dr. Seuss :joy: That’s so damn random!

I’ve been journaling since June of this year and before that I only journaled in August last year.

I am enjoying journaling once again, still, I gets hard trying to stick to that sometimes. And I am glad that I do remember to journal my daily days every now and then. I have to continue journalling up till I get a new therapist and even afterwards. I am going to be sad to finish that journal that I got from Barnes and Noble four years ago. Still got plenty of pages, but the journal is so beautiful that I am going to be a bit sad when I finish the last page.

I do have another journal, but those are a bit plainer than this one, yet it’s bigger than the one I am currently using.

So, here’s to finishing up my current journal next year.

That’s all I wanted to share.

If more people shared the same type of books you enjoy, then that could change things for GR. You just need more people who would read the same things you do and share your views in that.
