I rather have Science-Fantasy, best of both worlds.
If not that, then epic/high fantasy.

I want Ronantasy to get like⦠1 month
Science Fantasy is interesting.
Yay!
If only, if onlyā¦
Sometimes, Iād watch some romance then avoid it every now and then.
Call me a soulless human being, but I would love if romance just went away from fiction for over a full decade.
Just focusing on amazing friendships, good familial bonds, and people finding ways to love themselves with all the ups and downs in life.
I guess I get tired of shipping and lovey-dovey stuff, even when the story has ZERO romance in it.

I read the article.
Whatās your take on YA apparently decreasing in popularity? The thought of it saddens me, but I probably shouldnāt panic, since that just means itāll be less popular, not that it will die out.
iām 18 now woooo
Hooray, another December baby! Happy Birthday!
Your parents must have gotten freaky during March
What?! LMAO!
9 months for a baby to go from a fetus to birth.
I understand that much!
I just donāt want that image of my parents screwing around during whatever month.
Geez! LMAO!
I am so glad my parents had me in 1995, and not 1996, because Ginuwineās Pony was out then
I donāt know, actually. I donāt read YA, yet I see it everywhere, so Iām not sure I believe itās decreasing in popularity. More and more adults seem to be reading it instead of adult fiction, and thatās not likely to change, especially when so many influencers like Oprah read and rec it.
I agree with you that there will always be a core audience for it no matter what, and perhaps if the number of YA writers decreases there will be less competition among them, so it might be a good thing in the end for the writers who remain. ĀÆ\_(ļ¢)_/ĀÆ
i was actually supposed to be born in january
Ah early baby!
Iām thinking about AI again, but thatās okayā¦according to LitHub itās the number one story of not just this year, but our whole era. ā(ĖāæĖc)
