A person in my feedback shop said they “read the rules” and posted something weird in a place where I said in the rules not to post their sign-up form. What do they mean they want “a full review and to improve on the critique?” I’m the one giving the critique. I’m also not offering full reviews.
sigh
I know they’re not doing it on purpose, but if you have read the rules, actually do what it says, please.
I learnt the hard way don’t go on long walks (in summer) with K-Mart grade cotton socks. By the end of the coastal walk around Noosa National Park, in >35C heat and >70% humidity, all my toes had blisters, some had multi-layer blisters, and there were a few blood-blisters too.
For serious walks you need wicking insulated socks, ideally toe-socks (or toe-sock inserts), to keep your feet dry and cool. For the financially abundant, silver-lined socks are also recommended (silver is anti-bacterial).
After experimenting with wool socks and wool toe-socks, I’m going to bin the cotton socks whenever I can acquire their wool replacements. The latter are quite comfortable and blister free, but more expensive.
I decided to give this story seven parts instead of nine or I can give some chapters at set number of parts, depending on what is going on within the chapter.
So chapter 1 will get seven parts, but next chapters it depends.
Dunno! I have absolutely no experience with reviews on Wattpad, so I have no idea what’s normal over there. Maybe everyone does that…? But I’ve never heard of any such thing before. All I know is, never do anything that makes you uncomfortable. ¯\_(ﭢ)_/¯
I finished part 5 earlier at 3136 words. I only have two parts left, but nine parts is the maximum and that only depends on the other chapters. There are ten chapters in total.
Not only ten chapters need nine parts, only if the chapter calls for it depends on how the story goes.
I am pleased with myself for getting this far, and total word count now is over 15K and I am not done with chapter 1, because I have parts 6 and 7 to get through.
Just posted a critique request in your comments section. Hopefully my critique request was compiled the right way. Curious to see what you think of my scribbling.
