I AM DECLARING WAR ON ARTS COUNCIL ENGLAND. They just shut down a very important organisation — a lifeline for creatives in my city because of their lack of funding/ giving a damn about the Southwest 
Like excuse me?? This organisation was doing good work for 5 years (throughout lockdown and beyond) supporting writers and theatre-makers in my city and surrounding areas. It wasn’t some CIC run by nepo babies for a tax write-off or whatever… it was for the People by the People, and the output has been significant!!
Just in February their work (which I contributed to) was added to the active archives of the museum as part of queer history and writings in the city. We were able to hold our first ever Fringe festival last year with their support, and they’ve organised lectures and workshops for writers and the public for years… not to mention the massive poets residency at the theatre.
It’s very sad and I am raging, and I don’t know what to do

Update: I’ve heard whispers as to why they’ve cut off funding… wow… let’s just say I didn’t realise we lived in a totalitarian regime. This is war indeed

I believe there are WAY more hardcore fans than casual fans and people just coming into the fanbase in the most popular of fandoms.
Those hardcore fan that eat, sleep, and breath whatever they are consuming to an absurd level.
I should know because I am one and sometimes I hate myself for it.

I mean extreme fans tend to push casual fans and new fans away sometimes with their insane love and experience with whatever they consume.
Extreme fans are just bonkers that it scares even me, a hardcore fan.

If you want motivation to start your zero mortals plan, you should see how the extreme parts of the voltron fandom harassed the voice actors and crew. Mostly over shipping.

Shipping fandoms are horrible and the absolute worst in my eyes. I won’t change my opinion on that ever.
