So, tell me, what is on your mind at the moment?

Let’s go together, shall we?

When I hear about Yggdrasil from Norse Mythology, my mind stupidly wants to know, who planted the three?

Great idea: get illustrations for Between Roses

Realization: Illustrations, yes, but for which scenes? :eyes: No idea. Gotta think.

I can tell you but don’t expect it to make sense

I checked.

Seems that it has no origin, it just sprouted one day.

Ah, it’s the same story with the cosmic egg myth.

Once upon a time a guy hatched from a cosmic egg.

No, I don’t know where the egg cane from. Probably aliens.

I think there is a story from Paupa New Gineau that is like that.

There’s also a giant cosmic egg* featured in End of Evangelion, but I couldn’t find a video clip of that scene.

I will never forget how the ending to Evangelion series made me feel.

“What the fuck was that?” I felt the exact same at the ending to the movie Akira.

Yeah. First time I watched End of Eva, the film lost me after the awakened Unit 01 turned up. Although Shinji remained true to form throughout the film and the series. Always reminding me why he’s on my top five most despised anime characters list.

Akira was a little easier to follow. But the ending wasn’t a high point of the movie. The army sergeant was probably my favourite character.

I hate Gainax endings, because I am left feeling so stupid and confused.

AND I THINK THAT IS THE POINT OF IT ALL!!! Though I don’t know if Akira is qualified as such, and I had people tell me to read the manga in order to understand things.

Guess they forgot one of the rules for storytelling.
Keep it simple. Be clear. Think of your reader, not yourself ~ Roger Angell (in Advice to Writers).

Never judge a book by its movie ~ literary saying.

Hehe! I never knew bandaids on the nose were a fashion statement. Never heard of Longreads before either, so thanks! ( ˆ◡ˆ)۶ ٩(˘◡˘ )

In terms of easy cosplay outfits that you can make at home or buy at some store, this is truly one of those things.

This is totally closet cosplay, you don’t even need to shop on a cosplay website, except for the wig, the contacts, sleeping mask, and shoes. Everything else you can find in your closet or drawer or buy real cheap at some store.

How to cosplay on a budget 101.

GENIUS!

I wanted to cosplay as Yuki Tayeka but that is much harder.
