Thanks! I needed these today! ( ˆ◡ˆ)۶ ٩(˘◡˘ )
Webcomic hosting these days is hard because of Webtoons’ slide into softcore porn comics.
currently laying facedown on the floor, trying to think my way to the midpoint of this plot.
Just when I think the Trump campaign can’t sink any lower… (-᷅_-᷄๑)
What?
Puerto Ricans can’t vote?
Unless he’s talking to Puerto Ricans in the US. Maybe that makes sense. I heard Puerto Rico are having an election where they are gonna be independent, become a state or self-government. Maybe this is a part of it too?
So, I saw Asteroid City
I realized the title is actually “Asteroid City” with the quotes which is clever considering it’s a documentary about a theater cast putting on a play called Asteroid City. Reminds me of a movie about Marimekko done in a way that was watching the cast playing the characters in the film which was based on a true story, while also watching the actual film.
While the movie about Marimekko was based on a true story, the documentary about the screenwriter for Asteroid City was entirely fictional.
The real actors have to then play two roles. The characters in the film, and the characters playing characters in the film.
What’s this type of film called?
Extremely artsy.
Remember Shawn Mendez? He is gay now. Shocking, I know.
I’m tired of hearing this song. It’s good, but overplayed.
This is very shocking. I am shocked.
I wonder how actors even do this. Must get so confusing sometimes.
In the film The Assignment, one actor plays the protagonist, the antagonist, and the protagonist pretending to be the antagonist.
And in the early Monty Python films several actors played different roles too.
Just remembered, Peter Sellers played three roles in Dr Strangelove.
Although pretty cool, that’s a little different from a movie/documentary within a movie. Do you know any like that?
Kind of like Singin’ in the Rain, but not really because in Singin’ in the Rain we never see the full movie the actor characters are playing.
I’ve been reading Watchmen for school.
I’m liking it so far.
Ah Watchmen, where joy and hope goes to die…
